The law firm of Dean Kantaras has served my son and a few other friends that had positive outcomes…read more The quality of service was good and the only down side is the change over of staff and assistant attorneys. Yes, quality of an attorney on those difficult cases will come with a price tag. If you're in need of an attorney because of domestic violence or high conflict divorce, the Kantaras law firm is the way to go.

I called K Dean Kantaras Law Firm for a free thorough consultation with Stephanie Libby (Cavill)…read more At the end of the consultation I asked what an amicable divorce would cost. I was quoted $3,350 and $500 for costs. I put these charges on my credit card I was asked for $1,600 more dollars after the settlement agreement was prepared. I was asked for another $2000 after the final hearing and $700 to go to another law firm for two QDROs. I had the most amicable divorce possible. My spouse didn't even need to be served. I went with him to sign and have papers notarized and I hand delivered them to the firm myself. My divorce cost me over 7,500 which is more than double what I was quoted. An experienced family law attorney should be able to give a better quote. They sent a contract that said the money I paid was a retainer. I understood if my divorce was not amicable that it would cost much more My warning to all ladies needing a divorce would be find a different law firm because once you sign the contract they can charge you whatever they want and there is nothing you can do about it. I wish I had read reviews before hiring them. I filed reports with the Better Business Bureau and The Florida Bar. I'm almost to Arbitration but I'm finding that it doesn't matter what they tell you in the consultation, once you sign their contract you are at their mercy. You've been warned.
