I have been trying for over a month to get an update on my car accident case from September 2024, with almost no response to my calls, emails, voicemails, or portal messages. My case has been in negotiation since last year, yet I've seen little to no effort or communication from the firm. I don't feel that their value is what they advertise and claim they support and cover their clients. Mostly its months in my case years of no feasible income or financial diligence. I expect basic communication and updates from my legal representation. I am still hoping for a resolution and urge the firm to contact me immediately to discuss the status of my case.

My brother was killed by police and we hired Palmer Perlstein in high confidence to represent us but James & Rachel did absolutely nothing. Communication was absent and abhorrent. They would take 39 days to respond and when we got updates, it was for files they already had. James would say they'll do something and they never would. Before we could Fire them they dropped our case and their excuse was they're too busy. Nearly 8+ mos of being left in the dark and making no progress. Almost everything is handled by non-lawyer employees. Insurance companies know that, they make way-low offers, which are almost always taken. Two friends were injured in a classic wreck, they had the green light, middle of the intersection, a driver on his phone plowed through, hitting the Right-Side Door. Car video caught it all. One of the injuries was unusual, the passenger's hearing was dramatically affected. I called a couple retired PI lawyers I respected, described the case; after two of them suggested Marc Lenahan, I quit and called Mark. He has a reputation in the legal community of taking cases with unique injuries and pursing them vigorously. The clients were amazed: he called and talked with them for over an hour, explained how he practiced, their options to choose other counsel, talked about their damages, "If you do want to hire me, here's my address, call and make an appointment." The Insurance Company Adjuster made offers that were insulting, a couple thousand dollars, take it or leave it. Marc called, "We can reject it, file suit, that will likely get the attention of somebody above the Adjuster." Marc did. And, a couple months later called to say he'd gotten 100% of the Policy Limits. On both claims! Many PI lawyers only take "major" cases that may net them beaucoup bucks. This wasn't "major", just two good people whose lives were changed forever by a careless driver. Mark handled it the same way he would a million-dollar case. Dallas Personal Injury lawyers know about each other. I've never practiced PI, those I know and trust sent me to Marc. And he got my friends every cent available. He stayed in contact with them, kept them fully aware, gave them a complete accounting of how their payments were computed. Ethics are a major part in law practice. This being my second I was terrified, it had been 10 years since my first and I have a lot more responsibilities now than I did then. Brian made a plan immediately (well... as soon as Dallas Co. finally sent evidence to him anyway), he laid out options we could take to prove not guilty by going to trial. The issue with that however, is that with Covid I would not see a trial date for another year and half! That means I would have to continue with bond conditions the entire time (no drinking, breathalyzer, blow 3x a day at least)... you may as well be on probation if you have to wait that long and take a plea. He had a plan for that too! What you are getting with this law office is the relationship they have with the DA, that even if you do take a guilty plea they will work for the best possible outcome and wont settle for less. Brian got me down to a DWI I (one, misdemeanor) and my conditions of probation are actually far less than what they were of my first one. I am super grateful and have been putting my best foot forward as to not screw up this great deal he got me. Also loved the staff, they were always very responsive and helpful!
