Priscilla, the initial attorney handling our case, often took up to three weeks to respond, and her tone was consistently unpleasant. When we did speak, the conversations were brief and lacked the detail we needed. We were also asked to provide information that should have been handled by the firm. Later, Moneike Moody took over the case, but the experience did not improve. We were only able to speak with her once despite making multiple attempts--five phone calls and eight emails. Communication remained poor, and we never received a clear breakdown of how funds were distributed among the parties or how medical bills were paid. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. i contacted this company, because I was in a accident on April 20. I let my insurance lapse so I was not covered at the time of the accident. However the person ran into me. The guy got out of his truck took pictures then moved and backed into a parking spot. I could not open my door so I let down the window and asked him what was he doing did he call the police. he said no you ran in front of me. I called the police the dispatcher told me to remain still and don't try to move until the ambulance get there. Anyway when I spoke attorney Martin I told him all of my info. I also let him know the police said they could not determine who was at fault so no ticket was issued. I did tell them about a camera facing the street where the accident happen. After a month the other person insurance company sent me a check for $700. I called my case worker who never calls back to see what it meant. No help she just asked was I still going to therapy and told me not to worry about the car it would be repaired,she also stated the other company was waiting on the police report. Well after 2 months I get a call from her telling me they decided to let the case go and she said I would not be charged anything. She would forward me a copy of the police report for my records and that I could seek help from another attorney. that was it. My car was not repaired and now I am just stuck with my injuries as well. I would never refer this Company to anyone they are a joke. read more

I can't say how disappointed I am with this firm who originally had my case and didn't want to be bothered with it and passed it to another who does the same thing they do. Months went by before I could get an answer about what was going on with my case. Only to learn they were referring me to another firm who does the same type of work. As small and simple as the case was, it took every bit of two years to settle the case due to lack of professionalism and communication with both firms. I practically had to act like a push over with both firms to get any answers. I had to inform the other firm there is a difference between being given a written prescription versus it actually being filled. It's not rocket science. There is nothing that can be said that already hasn't everybody is giving the same story damn near. When my case first began they told me we had a very solid case because the lady that hit me ran a stop sign and ended up totaling my Tiburon, so of course, I naturally believed them because I've been through the process many times from being the passenger in a car wreck. The first 2 months the communication was decent I got set up in physical therapy to atone for my injury, {which was only minor chest pains} but I went nonetheless after a week of that I decided I didn't need it and eventually stopped going. That only hurt me in the long run because here it is almost a year later in February since I first called and set up my case, and I only ended up with 4k-2k in the hospital bills from the xrays. waste of time in my opinion read more

I will try my best to make this very long story short. I contacted Godsey Law Firm 10/2018. They were very nice and concerned in the beginning. My lawyer was changed at least 3 times. Once I started asking questions, leaving emails, and voicemails I was ignored. After I tried to go over their (Nicole Hines-Glover, Amber Mancillas, and Yvonne Wyatt) head for answers, I was dropped as a client ONE year later ( statue of limitations is 2 years) for my particular injury. They never even fought to get the video tape of my accident which is the proof! What did I do? I found a reputable company who immediately picked up my case and eager to get the video. I received emails and postal mail with other clients names, addresses, contact information, medical records, client drop letter etc sent to me by Amber Mancillas. My experience with Godsey Martin was amazing to say the least me and my oldest son were in a car accident where we were hit from behind, my back and neck were both injured while my son had minor injuries, he walked away from the accident with his settlement within months and that helped out a great deal, but me on the other hand took years of therapy and minor surgeries. Through all of my appointments my case manager checked on me to make sure everything was going okay and to see how I was feeling every other day.
