The plumber said that could have made my water heater explode, burning down the entire house. My child's room is next to the laundry room. The explosion definitely would have killed her. My "buyer's agent" was Derek Pearson at Premier Property Group. It was his friend John Faller who inspected the house. All of them failed us and we could have died. Because we were relocating from out of state (Austin, Texas), we were eager to move forward efficiently. The company required us to complete a full application through RentRedi before they would even show us the property. After submitting the application and waiting 8 days with no communication, we followed up. They then requested paystubs and IDs--again, without any showing or confirmation of interest. We provided all requested information promptly. After approximately 2-3 weeks of back-and-forth, during which they had all of our personal and financial details, they informed us that dogs were not allowed and that the rent had increased to $1,300. No prior mention was made of these changes, despite multiple conversations. This felt like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. The lack of transparency, poor communication, and stringing us along for weeks while holding our information was frustrating and unprofessional, especially for out-of-state applicants trying to plan a move. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution and consider looking elsewhere.
