John was very professional, polite and very patient with all my questions - and he tried to save me money by explaining that even if the sellers and their friends and family all had copies of the manuals for the old locks they could not override them once he programmed a new code into them, but my peace of mind was worth the expense of the two new electronic locks. John also rekeyed my old-timey mechanical locks for the walk-in entry to the garage. I can't recommend John The Locksmith highly enough, he's the only locksmith I will use from now on. I've been waiting to make this review and was trying to allow this company to provide me with any…read moreform of communication but am at the point it seems to be a lost cause. I was charged $250 for a simple job of getting my car door open to retrieve the key that got locked inside. In my opinion $250 seems fairly unreasonable, but didn't bother me so much as I planned on submitting this to my insurance for a reimbursement. However, after calling the dispatch number MULTIPLE times to have the tech reach out to me to provide an invoice, I never received any form of communication. The tech BLOCKED my number from being able to call them, my wife called and was told an invoice would be sent to her. Never received and her number got blocked as well. My insurance even went as far as to call Mr. Lock to have an invoice sent directly to them and they were blocked as well after initial contact. How this company has 5 star reviews is beyond me as I have had nothing but a horrid experience for something so simple. The only "good" part of this experience is that the service was actually done and that's about it. Overcharged, zero communication, and terrible customer service. I typically don't write reviews, but felt this needed to be said as I chose this company for their online reviews and can't fathom why my experience was the complete opposite of what I saw. I do not recommend this company and urge other to proceed with caution.
