Once in a while the restaurant has live bands which makes dinner time much more pleasing. The entire crew is very welcoming and generous. I haven't had any rude or bad experiences with anyone. All of my dishes have been to die for and yes although I do have to say that the wait time for the food is a little longer than expected TRUST ME when I say that it is worth the wait!!!! The food presentation is beyond expectations. 10/10 recommend this place!!!!! BTW if I had to recommend any drinks, order a "Cadillac" margarita. If you're a light weight or just looking for a good time and something strong but sweet, order one either on the rocks or blended ! It will give you a kick right away

It's gated, clean and has both a private golf course and a hotel and restaurant in addition to homes. We really wanted to like this place, but the owners, who are mostly expat's, have their heads so far up their butts that this was by far, the WORST vacation we ever had. I have 4 little kids. Kids make noise. I got a notice to keep it quiet, during the day, like 11 am... Are you kidding me?! My kids had to stay in doors, with the windows closed until we left to go to the beach. Our place had no AC, so just imagine how hot it was... The next morning, some kids were yelling at the pool and others running around the neighborhood making noise. IDK if they got a notice or not, but this place is just BS. To top it off, on July 4th, there was a golf cart parade complete with American flags and glitter and, you guessed it, loud noise. Hey, I love the US and celebrating the 4th is in my blood. But don't put your retired, I'm better than you rules on tourists. The same tourists from your same home country. Come on...

HONEST REVIEW: Adelaide - L'Auberge (Del Mar). @la has some…read moreof the best views and vibes in San Diego. Located in Del Mar, you'll get beach views and fresh air, with delicious food and libations at their restaurant, @adelaide. They offer $10 Valet parking for Adelaide diners where you are just a short walk to cliffs and beach. As you enter, you walk into a stunning lobby and pristine bar area that just draws you in with the classy environment, beautiful white marble bar top, gold accents and perfect lighting. We went on Valentine's Day and although the restaurant wasn't too busy, our server did seem a bit overwhelmed and rushed (maybe under staffed?). See below for the full HONEST food review. *I will note this has been a favorite restaurant of ours for a while now and we've typically been impressed by the food, but our main dishes just didn't blow us away at this visit. Kid and friendly They offered a pretty good kids menu with great pricing too, but would recommend the pancake and French toast options to include either fruit or a breakfast meat for a full meal. What we ordered: Local Ceviche 10/10 - super fresh fish and the perfect amount of seasoning and lime juice - we couldn't stop eating this! Lobster Omelette 2/10 - huge miss, barely any lobster, the lobster was minced so almost seemed like a lobster salad, and the eggs were dry and seemed like they were from a carton. I ordered a side of hollandaise sauce to dip the omelette into, which made it tolerable to eat and not so dry and tasteless Fish Filet Sandwich with truffle fries - 9/10 it's hard to beat a perfectly toasted brioche bun and fish that just melts in your mouth! The sauces complement it perfectly and those truffle fries with a black garlic mayo dipping sauce Kids French toast sticks - 8/10 nothing special about this dish, just one slice of French toast cut into sticks (if you want a side like fruit or bacon you have to order that separately) Simply Grilled steak - 7/10 we had a hard time ranking this because it wasn't bad, but wasn't great either - it fell on the more average scale and the sides were a bit skimpy. Winner's Circle - 9/10 their version of a French 75 with a lavender-honey twist, super refreshing and the hint of lavender won my heart Ocean Rift - 8/10 their version of a Paloma Follow @allthingsfoodinsandiego for more must try San Diego restaurants, date night ideas, food experiences, kid friendly spots, with a sprinkling of home-cooking!

You can see the ocean in the distance. Decor is contemporary. The waitress was pleasant, service was attentive and food was delivered in a timely manner. The Buddha bowl I ordered (About $24, Dec 2025) was delicious, colorful and a healthy portion. I would dine at Adelaide again. Parking: Free on some nearby streets, paid lot across the street, nearby metered street parking. Helpful?

Maybe about 10 ppl total? We waited outside as if this was a club. Lol. We were seated & it was a bit tight. The ambiance, vibes, & music were great! It's loud & was giving off club vibes for dinner. Although I don't believe there's a dance floor since it is a restaurant. Bathrooms were nice. Again, club vibe-ish. Food was ok, nothing over the top. Which is why I want to go back to try different menu items. Anyways, parking wise, it's downtown. We ended up valeting the car which they have the option which was nice. Upon leaving, I was waiting for valet to bring my car up. The guy handed me the keys & told me it's parked across the street. Tf. Isn't that why I'm paying for your service? I'd understand if it was a "whatever you wanna tip" typa ordeal. But no, you're paying for valet. So YOU bring my car to the front. Which I told him & he did. But that was kinda annoying. They valets were too busy talking between each other they didn't even wanna do their own job!

The service was very very poor. It honestly took so long for anyone to even notice us when we were seated. It seemed like our server picked us up because he realized we hadn't been helped. The food was okay, the best thing was the steak. This place talks a lot about their quality steaks so stick with those options! Also, the seating was dirty, but the vibes are super cute for photos! This place is great for a vibe but not great for a meal! Also, we were disappointed there wasn't any performers and it was a weekend.

So maybe you'd have a better time than I did. Decent music was playing at a comfortable volume. I came here with several coworkers for a team activity. Their billiards tables all seemed clean and all the equipment was in good condition. I'm not a billiards fan though, so I really needed the food to be good for a decent experience. I ordered the burger and fries. Burger: 0/5. This was by far the worst cheeseburger I have tasted for as long as I can remember. I only had a bite and I put it down and pushed it away so I didn't have to look at it anymore. The meat looked weird and gray. It was very greasy and tasted odd. Texture was off. I wish I could describe all this better! Just don't order it. Fries: 4/5. The fries tasted fine - warm, crispy, salty. But nothing memorable/special. Extremely spicy wings: 5/5. My coworkers ordered some wings to share which were ridiculously hot and extremely tasty. I love spicy food and these wings were fire!!! Disappointment: I wanted some utensils to share dessert. I tried flagging servers a couple of times but wasn't successful. So I walked towards the bar and noticed an open window looking into their kitchen/back area towards the left. I wish I didn't see what I saw ... I just didn't feel comfortable using any utensils/plates after I saw how dishes were being handled. I left a few minutes after.
