this pharmacy was godsent to me! i just could not believe how professional and thorough they were. filling a controlled drug, alone is a challenge. my normal home pharmacy is cvs all the way in carrollwood where i reside. cvs did not have this particular medication in stock there, so i must of went to atleast 5 more cvs locations, each i was told they didn't have this in stock. my dr. even ok-ed it a week early because i am heading on a 3 week vacation. i called my insurance company to confirm they will cover a vacation supply, and they even confirmed it was ok. my main issue now, was finding a pharmacy that will fill it. there was no way i would be able to go on my trip if i didn't have my meds. i was beginning to panic and was riddled with anxiety. a small mom and pops pharmacist told me that places lie and say they don't have something in stock as an excuse to not fill. he said my issue was that my dr. was in pinellas and i lived in carrollwood/ tampa area, but i was in brandon. he said that the dea looks at those things. he said he would love to fill it but didn't want the red flag given that it is a narcotic and they are buckling down in florida with that epidemic we are battling on opiates and addiction and overdose. plus, i am trying to fill a week early for my vacation. plus, many pharmacies don't carry controlled drugs in stock, so they would have to order that and it takes 3 days or so. plus, another pharmacist mentioned that they would not fill just a pain medication prescription. i was like well, that is all i had to fill at this time. then another said if i transferred all my previous prescriptions from my home pharmacy over, they said atleast 7 presciptions, then they would fill it. when i was about to lose my mind, i said ok, fine, let's do that, let me write all of them down. then they changed their minds for some reason. they didn't expect me to actually have 7 ready to be filled. lol.... so, i had several factors against me. i remember bill's pharmacy helped me out before after a surgery. they were very quick and accommodating. i really didn't expect this time would be an easy feat. the lady said she would have them run it and let me know via phone call if they are able to fill it and that it will take about 15-30 minutes. i said ok, and waited in the car due to the other pandemic corona virus! i was in a state of disbelief and pure shock to get the call only 5 minutes later. i go inside prepared to get turned down, but instead it was actually filled and i was utterly speechless and very, very grateful!!!!! very quick, efficient, hospitable, happy, kind, the place always has good vibes! thank you bill! you never let me down. now, i am on my way to the beach for 3 weeks with family and you all made that possible!!!! thank you! #blessed read more

Bills Pharmacy is by far the Best Pharmacy I've have been with I was told about them after having My Bicep Tendon ruptured in March and my Ankle, Tibia reconstructive surgery in November and learned from a dear friend of Bills Pharmacy home Delivery a huge plus for me as I couldn't drive I did go in prior to the upcoming surgeries I felt from the moment I stepped in how polite and friendly they were your greeted with a hello how can we help you threw me off as it's not always Pleasant at Bigger Pharmacy's to be greeted Sincerely anyway I thought I'd use them for the delivery Service, Its so pleasant to hear a kind voice when you're in Severe pain I never felt judged and always had my what was needed in stock I have a bit of a ride to go there when I'm surrounded by Pharmacy's I'd rather have my prescriptions filled by a family owned operated business anytime they're very accommodating and very pleasant. Have you ever tried to fill a prescription for Adderall? Most pharmacies won't tell you over the phone if they have any. Most pharmacies won't tell you which other stores in their chain have it in stock. They claim they can't because it's Category II. That's not the law. It's just their policy. Bill's Pills, bless them, is happy to tell you over the phone. And they did have them in stock--the seventh pharmacy I visited this morning trying to fill my prescription. I travel 2 hours to have all of my prescriptions filled here. My wait time is always minimal, the staff is kind and courteous and always calls me by my first name and asks me about prior conversations making you feel at ease and part of their family. The atmosphere even when busy, is upbeat and they always keep you at ease. They do everything they can to help you resolve any insurance issues or conflicts and always try to cheer you up if you are having a bad or painful day. The premises are always clean and welcoming and the entire staff is knowledgeable on any and every product they offer. If they don't have what you're looking for and can't get it, they refer you to the best place to find it. I can't rave enough about this business. I adore the staff, it's well worth the drive. I am very disappointed. There are new rules governing classes of drugs. My husband, who had 7 clots and a stroke takes one script that falls under these rules. Bills agreed to fill the script months ago and said there would be no problem at all. Today they turned us away and advised unless we fill all our scripts there we were not welcome. If that was the case they should never had filled it to begin with. We are working with Publix to find a solution closer to home, but it's not like we live in the next county or something. Just 30 mins like Ben. I wonder how he will feel when they dump him too. :( read more

I have been a monthly customer for 6+ years. In the beginning, both staff and pharmacists always were very helpful. This all changed about 3 - 4 months ago. My medicine was getting harder to get. Two months ago I called to have my script filled. ( an e- script, on a Friday). The tech stated they (2) would be ready at noon. About 10 minutes later the pharmacist called and told me they were out of both and wouldn't have any until beginning of next month, 2+ weeks away. I panicked! Not having either of my meds meant I would start to have withdrawal symptoms in a few days. I called back an hour later as I just couldn't believe that they had done this to me and to top it off the pharmacist was cold, unfeeling and could have cared less. I called again the next day and wonders! They had 1 of my meds and they were getting the other that day ( Saturday). So, the pharmacist on Friday had LIED to me. I managed to get both for that month. I have spoken with the owner's son. I cannot understand the way this handled. Also (FYI) E-SCRIPTS cannot be transferred to another pharmacy. I believe that the pharmacy should let their customers know that they are having problems not should they LIE! For you who are reading this, I am a 68 yr old retired nurse with several severe medical problems. read more

I spend more time going in there and coming away hand empty because it wasn't ready, even though they said it would be. over and over and over. very frustrating. if I didn't need my prescription compounded, I would never go there. read more
