I called Bear Paw and Audrey to relay what had happened. My bike was covered in mud-NO PROBLEM said Audrey. They had a bike wash and Trent said to bring it in and he'd take a look. I am from out of town leaving the next day so timely service was pretty important. As thought, my hanger was bent and Trent's expert eye caught that my chain was missing a link causing extra stress on the hanger. Needless to say they got the bike washed, got the chain and hanger straightened out. He also made a couple of adjustments while I sat on the bike and now it's perfect. The bike looks and rides as new as when I first got it! These guys are first rate all the way. Super friendly and very accommodating. For context: - the rental was not yet open - no customers or workers were at the dock area or on the ramp - Mead's Quarry itself is public land I will never rent from this company, and I encourage you to rent from somewhere else and/or paddle at the free, public Ijams dock on the Tennessee River instead. Knoxville shouldn't lease public land to a private company that polices its citizens.
