This funeral home handled my loved one's viewing and cremation, and I appreciated everything they…read moredid and recommend them very highly. This was the only time so far that I've been in charge of making such arrangements, so I had a lot of questions throughout the process, and the people at Riemann were great. I do not live in the area, so all the discussions and preparations leading up to the viewing were handled via phone and e-mail, and it all went very smoothly. Whenever I reached out with a note or question, I always received a prompt and kind response. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff I encountered. The two people who were on-site the day of the viewing were so nice, helpful, and professional. And the viewing itself was so much nicer than I had expected. Their facilities are well-maintained and peaceful. There is a foyer/greeting room when you first enter that has a piano, and they put up some framed photos of my loved one for the viewing, had a nice guest book for signing, and the room for the viewing itself was large, nice, comfortable. There was also a side room with coffee, tea, and bottled water - I had not expected this but it was very nice and I'm grateful it was there, we definitely used it. I had chosen this funeral home because the nearby hospital told me that while it wasn't the cheapest, its location was the most convenient / nearby. I didn't do any price comparisons, but I found Riemann's cost to be reasonable, and based on the excellent services they provided me, I think it was more than worth it.

After, many families choose to gather for a graveside service at the cemetery. If you are leaning more toward cremation options at the on-site crematory, you may choose a direct cremation without a service. Or you can select cremation with a service, holding a memorial at a much later date if needed. When you do not have a burial timeline to follow, the memorial date can be flexible. Families are choosing life celebrations more and more, keeping the service light and party-like. All of these options, or combinations of two or more, are available. Think about what the deceased would have wanted, call on journals, or ask for any conversations they had with friends to find out if they had wishes to respect. Military honors and veteran services are easily accommodated at Riemann Family Funeral.

My personal information is on their website and they are refusing to remove it unless my deceased…read moregrandmother gives them permission to... This place can guarantee terrible customer service and rude employees who will talk over you, accuse you of being rude to them (without being able to provide any specific examples), and their prices are outrageous. Avoid this business at all costs!! Edit: Addison Riemann reached out to me and was just as rude (if not ruder) as the person I originally spoke with. They also reached out to a family member of mine to try to pressure me into deleting this review. Edit #2: I asked Addison for the original person I spoke with to simply apologize for being rude. I said I would delete this review if my minor request was addressed. He wouldn't let me speak and tried to make excuses for their employees behavior. Edit #3: Please take note that it's been 8 days since I left my review and there has been no response from this business... This is clearly because they can't deny anything I said because it's 100% factual - they are very aware of this review, because as I stated above they called a family member of mine to harass them about getting me to delete this. Completely unacceptable and inappropriate behavior from this organization.

Thanks so much for helping my 18 year old son plan his services last week, from choosing his…read moreservice, visitation, casket, and flowers. I was at the meeting with him, but basically just sat and listened, and answered any questions he had. We got the policy in the mail today y'all treated him with the upmost respect. He just graduated from high school. He also picked out his burial plot (with possibility of making it a double,if he gets married) ...super customer service, as a mom it was difficult to listen to my son plan for his funeral, but so proud of him. My husband and I, also pretty planned our services several years ago. Thanks again, Jennifer

As the name implies this is one old cemetery. Because of the water table there are plenty of…read moregraves above ground same as New Orleans. It was in some areas rather run down my guess would be the funds for "eternal care" ran out. The next random thought I had was Live Oaks are beautiful but they absolutely destroy anything their roots grow toward. So you will see many gravesites upheaved due to the roots. My last thought was you can purchase the best mausoleum in all of Biloxi but you are just as dead as the poorest grave.

It dates back to the 19th century with the oldest existing headstone noting an 1811 death date. The land dates back to Louis Fayard. Mr. Fayard immigrated here in the 18th century and is next to a site where the French has planned to build Fort Louis. Mr. Fayard deeded part of the land to the village of Biloxi for use as a public cemetery upon his death in 1844. The cemetery features a number of 19th century above-ground monuments. These are needed because the water table is so close to the surface. There are also many old cedar and oak trees that are draped with Spanish moss. Some stones and trees were damaged by Hurricane Katrina. It's a nice walk and mostly shaded. If you're looking to get away from the beach and the casinos, this is a nice way to do it.
