As I told our hosts, the Cafe is more American than America itself (and that's coming from a pair of Americans). They've left no stone unturned in trying to make the entire place a bastion of everything USA, from the dining area, to the seating, to the walls, floors, foods, lighting, and, frankly everything there. Don't miss the "museum" upstairs, either - another paean to American culture as seen from a Norwegian perspective. Food as American-diner style as you may find it in all of Norway. And a gift shop. And more. Think of it as perhaps a Norwegian version of Cracker Barrel, where everything there is everything someone might think America is.
