I jumped on my trusty Yelp app and used the request a quote option. Within MINUTES I had a response, and within the hour he set up a time to come out and check it out the next morning. An aside: the Yelp request a quote app was EASY! I could even upload pics. When the gentleman came out to quote me he was as kind as could be. Mask, distance, the whole bit. Perfect. He gave me a reasonable quote, and told me that he could come out within a couple of days - providing an exact time and stating that he would call me if his job before mine ended sooner. The communication was great the whole time. We spoke mid weekend and the day before he cameout. When I asked him what payment he preferred, I was provided viable options (including Zele). He came in the morning in the timeframe stated (between 9:30 and 10:30 AM) and the job took about 4 hours. When they arrived my partner asked for them to remove 2 more bushes, and they agreed for just a little more (and not a complaint!). I am very pleased with the outcome. They were careful around the infrastructure, sprinkler lines and the plants that I did want to keep. I cannot say enough for the kindness they exhibited, and how happy I am with the excavation job. My new place has many a tree, so I know that I will be giving them a call again in the near future! Did I mention - they more responsive than any others within my area! A BIG plus!

There is one spot, over a pipe, that just died and fell off. Now they guys who came out do seem like good people. However, we did butt heads during installation. There were a couple of times where I questioned how something was being done, and instead of stopping and discussing it, they just continued doing it. There was also a huge miscommunication on what they were going to do. I'm giving them 4 stars anyway because I think the problems were simply due to language differences. Thank goodness for Kevin who played mediator. This is a wonderful young man. He really made me feel like they wanted to make me happy, even if things didn't go well. Kevin is going to be a good business man when he starts his own business. Also, the higher stars is because the sod took in 99% of the places laid and looks beautiful!
