We looked at a few different companies to do a landscaping project that included new sod, grating, removal of an old pond, and a new porch extension. Bryan called back quickly and scheduled a visit to do a quote. He was knowledgeable and efficient. The price was within our budget. He even gave us ideas to think about for the design which we took advantage of. The project lasted about 3 weeks with some weather delays. Bryan's landscaping is amazing. I realized as I was getting older, so was my garden. Bryan renovated my flowerbed, correctly trimmed 6 tall trees and refreshed a retaining wall. Bryan did a wonderful job converting two planter areas at our house into a patio. Our house did not have a front porch so we were looking for options. Bryan helped us get what we needed. The price was fair. Even when he convinced us to take out the old walkway between the planters he gave us a good price and it really looks nice as one patio. I hired Bryan to replace my fence which is a shared fence with my neighbors. It took him 10 days to put up a 100 sq foot fence. I finally had to buy a temporary fence to put up because my neighbors and I have dogs and it was getting hard to always have to put them on a leash to take them out. I had to have him re do one side of the fence because when he put it up initially part of it was on my neighbors porch. Bryan did not bother to point that out to me before he completed the fence and it was after he left for the day when I saw it. Had he told me I would have had him change it before he had put up that entire side and he charged me extra to change it. The fence boards are now far enough apart that I can easily see into my neighbors yard which I could not do with the old fence even though it was falling down. I had him stain my side of the fence but he did such a poor job that I spent several days redoing it. He left places with no stain on it at all including the edges that were easily visible. He put a small latch on the gate that requires a string on the outside to open it and used a nut to secure the string, which looks awful. The gate, after just one week, started sticking on the brick of my house so I have already had to sand it down and repaint it. He left paint stains on my back porch and front sidewalk along with scratch marks where something was dragged across it. There are two sprinkler heads directly underneath part of the fence and when I told him about it and asked what needed to be done to fix it he sent me a text telling me to send him a picture of it and he would guide me on what to do to fix it. He said he gives his work a 5 year warranty which he finally put on the invoice but did not say what the warranty covers. I would not hire him for anything else. His work is poor, he did not show up at the time he said he would and usually left before he said he would, his communication was very minimal. Very disappointed in the outcome. read more
