This is my third time at Biomechanix Physical Therapy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BIOMECHANIX if you're near Goodyear and want to improve quickly and under truly professional guidance. Here's why: I went there in the past for the standard protocol after each of my knee replacement surgeries. (Now, it's June 4, 2017 and I'm 73 years of age.) I was referred here because I had fallen 5 times in the last 12 months, caused by dizziness and instability. I've got to say, "Craig Galbasini and his conscientious staff have performed several miracles in just an unbelievable few weeks," i.e.: After visit one, I noticed that I was more stable and less afraid of falling, but additionally, my mind was the clearest it had been in a very long time. And the benefits just kept (and keep) coming: I can get up from a chair with ease. I requested some exercises to make it easier for me to get out of bed. Craig added them to my work at home and voila! Problem resolved! I can stand much longer without discomfort. (He's given me several exercises to build up my "core," and I feel so much more stable that I go walking alone now! That's a miracle all its own! What I find most effective is that Craig keeps an eye on every patient (I actually think he has more than one set of eyes) because if he feels he can modify an exercise to create better results, he's "Johnny-on-the-spot" redefining the technique to help each patient according to their needs. i.e. He's given me three different exercises to improve my ability to get out bed. I wasn't even referred for that, but when he saw that his first choice was too hard for me, he altered it, and then altered it a third time until I could do many repetitions and progress more quickly. I've noticed that it's a jolly atmosphere there. In the midst of all our grunts and grimaces as we work muscles that haven't been worked for a long time, most of the patients become friendly with each other and the staff, and I believe that really encourages us to work harder. I felt as though I came in to BIOMECHANIX as an old woman and now, in just a few weeks, I feel years (YEARS!) younger. BRAVO, CRAIG AND THE WHOLE STAFF! read more

Timing was perfect! My decades of running miles without strength and flexibility training finally caught up with me one day on a trail run in the desert. I rolled my ankle and damaged my Achilles. Craig and his Biomechanic team treated me with success. After a few sessions I shared with Craig my 5 year old son's medical story. My son was born with bilateral clubfoot and was scheduled for surgery in May of 2022. I asked Craig if he would be willing to work with a child with this condition. My goal was to simply prepare my son for surgery and hopefully develop a quicker post surgery recovery time. Craig was willing to work with my 5 year old son. He thoroughly researched clubfoot and developed a treatment plan. My son started working with Craig in February. The goal in my son's treatment was flexibility in the foot tendon. Craig focused on different movements, stretches, coordination, and strength. My son loved working with the Biomechanics team. The whole team was excellent. In April, my son went to the Children's Hospital for his pre-op surgery assessment, and the orthopedic surgeon evaluated my son and asked what we had been doing for my son's feet. We explained that we put my son in physical therapy . The surgeon could not believe the movement in his feet. He immediately reported to his assistant to cancel the surgery! Craig and his team prevented my son's invasive surgery with a long recovery. Today my son runs, plays sports, and loves to exercise. Tim Dunne, assistants Kayla, Briana and a few times Mark are some of the best out there. Tim, the co-owner is one to think out of the box in your recovery. During my time working on rotator cuff surgery recovery Tim was always on top of his game. Beyond the front desk staff whom you expect to greet you, the group that works with you takes time to acknowledge you prior to starting. Once they take you back to begin your session, they ask wellness questions to see if you need to see Physical Therapists Tim or Craig, depends on who you are working with. Kayla is awesome when you first come. She always shows you were everything is, you know bathrooms or lockers for your keys and phone, where to get water, etc.. She takes great pride in her job and ensures you understand the open line of communication to all, even if you don't work with somebody. The facility itself is bright, pleasant music in the back ground and overall a great place to take your aches and pains to have them worked on. I recommend both Tim Dunne and Craig Galbasini to anybody who needs a great Physical Therapist. Biomechanix is the best West Valley Physical Therapy place. Due to a crash on my road bike I separated my shoulder at the AC joint. I visited a surgeon a few days after my crash and emergency room visit. The surgeon declared my injury a difficult one. He said if you put 5 doctors in the same room they would have a serious debate about surgery or not. He felt my injury might not need surgery and I didn't really want to endure it unless necessary. Having been to Biomechanix once before for back issues I knew exactly where I wanted to go if I was to avoid surgery. I was in pretty rough shape. I couldn't raise my arm to brush my teeth or put my arm through my shirts. It hurt too much. Well, after 5 months of solid physical therapy my shoulder not only returned to normal strength we began working on issues I had prior to my crash. Craig and his team are fantastic. He and his staff listen to your concerns and evaluate your progress with every visit. Having been there twice now I can say with 100% confidence, if there is any chance you can heal without surgery, Biomechanix will find a way. read more

I just completed my 6-week physical therapy regimin with Biomechanix in Goodyear, AZ, and I can't say enough about them. My therapist, Craig Galbasini and his assistant, Mark gave me excellent personal attention every minute I was there. Craig's approach of finding the root of the problem instead of a quick fix made complete sense since solving the underlying issues would prevent serious problems in the future. I didn't expect this kind of attention or expertise. They just plain knew what I needed and when I needed it as far as specific exercises and prescribed home work. They're as professional as it gets in this business. The facility is modern, clean, and has all the current equipment. The atmosphere is very upbeat and friendly. I had developed bursitis in my left hip in August of this year. I was not able to walk and was confined to my bed for about two weeks. I began going to Biomechanix Physical Therapy and began working with Craig Galbasini. I had been treated by a different physical therapist for the same problem at a different office and did not have good results. So when Craig told me that he could help me and have me pain free I was very skeptical. I am happy to say that Craig was correct, he has shown me different moves that are tailored to my issue. As I advance in my workout program Craig is always coming up with different moves to help improve my flexibility and strengthen my hip. Outstanding PT and staff! I started seeing Craig at Biomechanix last summer following a very painful and activity-limiting hamstring injury. As a long-time runner, I was anxious to improve quickly. After a thorough evaluation, Craig identified some significant underlying strength deficiencies which had contributed to my injury. By working on these areas, I am finally back to running 10-12 miles again, in addition to speed/track workouts. Not only has my hamstring improved, but my chronic sciatic has begun to subside, and I'm feeling stronger and faster. Craig's approach--finding out the root cause of the problem, not just addressing a single area of pain--is really a much more comprehensive approach to injury recovery and prevention, and it works! I am a resident of Pebble Creek in Goodyear. During the past 6 months I have experienced severe shoulder and lower back pain. My doctor prescribed physical therapy and recommended BioMechanix PT. Michelle Evers and her assistant Kayla provided excellent advice and techniques to treat these conditions through stretching and strengthening in a pain free environment. I admit, I was skeptical that physical therapy would help my arthritic knee. My pain level was 8 out of 10 every day. Walking, standing, sitting, sleeping - I HAD PAIN. Stepping up and down a curb was a challenge. Michelle started me out gradually and increased the exercises as I could tolerate. I followed the routine at home. Through her guidance and support and "pushing" me to do it, I persevered. I am now pain free! I still have a rare twinge of pain, but the ability to walk and sleep without pain is wonderful. After my knee replacement surgery in January, I went to Biomechanix for my rehab. After just 4 weeks, my surgeon was amazed at the progress I had made in both strength and flexibility. When people ask how I was able to do so well after the surgery, I always tell them about Biomechanix and how wonderful the staff is. They work with each patient individually and make sure that whatever exercises, stretching, etc they have the patient do will help that person to be healthier. They ask questions and really listen. I've been coming here since they opened and have NEVER had anything but a great experience. I had shoulder replacement surgery and spent about 4 months at Biomechanix rehabbing my new shoulder. My PT tech was Mark who worked under the watchful eye of Craig Galbisini - Physical Therapy Specialist. Mark would ensure I was doing the exercising properly and Craig would continually evaluate the exercises; many times accessing what additional movements I needed to perform to get the desired stretch. Craig and his staff are great. I had a knee replacement in March. Amber was my physical therapist and her tech assistant, Mackenzie were fun to work with. They always had a positive attitude and encouraged me with all my therapy. My friends are amazed at my recovery and how well I have recovered from my surgery. Michelle and team are great!!! I was a patient here for my acl and it became a home for me. I must admit I do miss them.
