I won't mention the other 2 tree service companies I called for an estimate (both were really expensive) but within an hour of my calling, company rep Travis was knocking on my front door! We walked out in the yard, he looked up at the branch, and after less than a minute, he gave me a free quote. And the price was right. Cut to today.. 3-4 guys showed up, climbed the tree, and in less than 30 minutes not only lowered in the 15' branch, but they even cut it into fireplace sized pieces, and then stacked it! The job was left incomplete, with grading undone, a dirt pile left onsite, and some cosmetic damage to the downspouts. Initially, I was concerned about the system draining in surges rather than a steady flow. After consulting with another plumbing contractor, I was told the flow behavior, while not ideal, is not uncommon and may not indicate a serious defect. Even so, the lack of follow-through after full payment, along with poor communication and no return to finish the job, was disappointing. I won't be moving forward with this company for additional work.

They knocked down the power line to my security lights, which took over 3 weeks to get fixed. They put a hole in my carport roof. They didn't bother mentioning it. I had to find it for myself. They were scheduled to start on a Wednesday but had to postpone to Saturday. No big deal. He assured me they would complete my job before starting another job, which was false. He told me they would spread the chips from cutting down two trees and other brush to prevent the areas they cleared from regrowth, which they did not do. He said they would grind the stump of the larger tree and cut the stump of the smaller tree lower, which they have not done. He said they would remove all of the vines from the one tree, but they only did one side. I asked Matt to come back to discuss my concerns. He didn't show the first time, but he did finally come back out. He told me they would bring in some chips from another job to spread over the cleared area that week. I've yet to see him. He told me he would also finish by grinding the stump and cutting the other stump lower. That was almost a month ago. Everything they cleared is already growing back. I would not recommend Matt and Treescapes to anyone.

On May 30th Brandon Palmer of Palmer Premier Services was hired to excavate and level a 30ft…read morediameter area so that a 28ft pool could be installed. The excavation was to be started on the existing ground on the low side of the excavation. Some of the excess dirt would need to be hauled off. The excavation that we got was not started on the low side level with the existing yard. The level is about 1.5 ft higher than the existing ground. The dirt was just moved from the high side to the low side. I expressed my concerns that it wasn't to the condition that we had agreed upon when Mr. Palmer came over to Quote the job. "A leveled 30ft diameter area to fit a 28 ft pool with the low side at existing ground level." Mr. Palmer assured me that he had installed several pools and that his 13000lb machine was enough to compact the soil to place a 28ft pool with 20,000 gallons of water in it. I also took him at his word that our pool would fit and the he would correct any issues that we might run into when we try and set up our pool. So, a mistake was made and Mr. Palmer was paid. I had also made the mistake of not measuring the area myself. Then again took Mr. Palmers word that the area was big enough to set up the 28ft pool. We tried to set up the pool and the initial lay out you could tell there was no way possible that the pool would fit. Un-level in several areas and not dug out enough to lay out the bottom rails. Several attempts were made to try and contact Mr. Palmer by cell phone (He would never answer) Text Messages (he would NEVER respond) Social Media (He eventually would respond but I had to search him out on all of the Social Media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Snap Chat) and finally got a response. Of course I got accused of blowing up his sh**!!. We are still waiting for Mr. Palmer of Palmer Premier Services to correct these issues. The one thing that sticks out is his company values are "We Strive For Quality and Satisfaction" So, no I would not recommend Mr. Palmer to do any work. He doesn't have voicemail. Only responds to Social Media and Text Messaging. And he doesn't stand by his own company values of " Striving for Quality and Satisfaction."
