Lots of windows with a single queuing system so erven with the queue out of the door it is still usually less than 5-mins to get served - 5-mins is 4-mins more than the ideal but it isn't the staff on the ground's fault. In addition to post office counter also has a range of posting stuff to buy and some random electricals, children's activity books and pens etc. A separate counter for these which also sells stamps is a bonus.

There is therefore no parking immediately outside but plenty of car parking a short walk away. It has both steps and a sloping entrance so is accessable for wheelchairs/ buggies but somewhat narrow inside.

They have a cash point machine inside the store. You can pick up most regular items that you would require there, bread, milk, tinned goods, small frozen section, chilled products, cards, wrapping paper, newspapers and a selection of household and personal items. The opening hours have been extended to what they used to be. Yes, they are a tad more expensive that the supermarket at Brookwood, but this is the local convenience store, so you pay a bit more for it being so convenient!!

I saw staff helping an older man who was trying to use the machine with his chip and pin card and was having trouble and the lady came out of the door and helped him to do it whilst trying to not look at his pin number! There is a good selection of envelopes and postage bags and lots of forms. You can buy car tax here. There is parking right out the front and around the back.

The customer services that I was afforded by the kind lady who attended to me @ the ' Bureau De Change Desk ' on that very occasion can, perhaps, best be described as being ' exemplary ' in nature. For my parting salvo, even though I had been relieved of a certain amount of Pounds (sterling) for the services that I had requested, more importantly however, I exited the premises with a great feeling of satisfaction. And that is why (without any reservations whatsoever) I would go as far as describing the lady (name unknown) who attended to my needs on this Valentines Day as: ' The Regency Architect - Par Excellence ! I went there today (4th December) to get some stacks and was greeted by a very helpful and cheerful lady called Esther. She was able to assist me with questions to see if I could save time on queuing. She helped explain the self service areas where she showed me what to do to buy stamps. She was knowledgeable, very pleasant and such a breath of fresh air with her cheerful and care for the customer. The post office counter is at the back. They do all the main post office services including car tax, cash withdrawals, postal services. This post office can be busy and queues do form particularly in the mornings. But overall I prefer this post office to the one on Ascot High Street as it is more spacious and there is easier access for pushchairs. Plus you can pick up whatever groceries you need at the same time.
