This is a classy, high-end cocktail speakeasy alongside Blackbirds in Wake Forest. The bartenders have strong mixology skills with a solid menu - and plenty of bandwidth to make your favorite off menu drink. The drink in my picture is a Boulevardie - a spin off the classic Negroni subbing in Whiskey as the star of the show. If the Campari has too much bite for you - ask the bartender to sub half Aperol and half Campari as a riff rather than the full 1 oz Campari.

Take a step back in time and enjoy some prohibition cocktails. The ambiance is calming immediately once you walk through the doors. It feels like you walked back a few decades while you're sipping on a gin and tonic or French 75. Applause Bird's Nest, you nailed this one.

I had the pleasure of sipping here for a couples night prior to dinner and found a hidden gem! This place feels like you stepped into an upscale city bar in NY. This cocktail bar is designed beautifully from the wallpaper to antique lighting. Christian the bartender was absolutely amazing and your guide to some of the best cocktails in this area. Please don't hesitate to try the expresso martini and all the special curated cocktails. One last thing the music is amazing and the vibe is perfect for a weekend cocktail with friends or date night.

My husband and I stopped in while we were waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. It is so beautiful on the inside! It felt really laidback and we definitely plan to return for some of their events. We both had espresso martinis and LOVED them. Looking forward to returning soon!

The space is cozy, not too big, and lovely. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly & attentive. We even got to meet the Chef and let him know how amazing his curated and creative dishes were! We sat at the bar and were able to be seated right away. We each opted for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon (or two). On to the food! The menu is extensive but not overwhelming. Plenty of delicious and appealing options of small plates to share, but also a few larger ones. We started with the Goat Cheese Stuffed Piquillo Peppers & Truffled Deviled Eggs. Both of these were amazing. The Peppers melt in your mouth and had so much flavor. The Deviled Eggs had the perfect amount of truffle flavor and were perfectly cooked. Next we opted for the Baguette of the day - this one was served with Salami, Burrata, and Arugula. The bread was perfectly crispy and all of the toppings fresh and delicious; this was a perfect combination! Lastly, it was between the Lamb Sliders Trio and the Paella! I really wanted to try the Paella, but my sister and I decided that we would try something a bit lighter and the Sliders looked so elevated, unique, and delicious. They sure did deliver! Served with fresh Goat Cheese, Guacamole, Fresh Jalapeño, Caramelized Onions, and Sriracha, which we got on the side. This dish was absolutely amazing! So different. You wouldn't think to put those flavors together, but it was so great and we would hands-down get it again! All of the food at Vinos Finos was delicious, fun, and fresh. I love how the Chef puts together various flavors that you wouldn't expect. We cannot wait to go back!

My servers were really nice and attentive to me, with a good balance of providing my space to enjoy some "me" time I came for. The wine flights are what caught my eye so I tried the one with white wines. I love that they have so many options for them. Plenty of tapas to choose from too, and the sliders and olives paired perfectly with my wine selection. It's cool that you can tell it's a neighborhood gem, because it sees like they had some Sunday regulars which is nice in a city that's growing so quickly and can easily to lose that neighborly feeling.

There's plenty of parking in the parking lot. There were several other patrons when I arrived. We were celebrating a birthday and I forgot to bring the gift...how perfectly that they have gift bags for wine. I let the owner know and she brought everything to me, I just had to let her know that I wanted a bottle of red. While we waited for everyone else to arrive, we ordered food. We ordered the crab & shrimp dip, two of the flatbreads, the El Jefe & the Pear Brie & Bacon. The dip comes with warm pitas, it was tasty. The flatbeds were really good, especially the El Jefe, we ordered a second one. The combination is something I'd never think to put together, but went together perfectly. Since we were celebrating a birthday we also had the creme brûlée...delicious. The wine!!! So when I arrived, my friend was just getting the red wine flight, she loved each of them. I tried the Cabernet Sauvignon, so perfect and smooth. We had the best time & are looking forward to going back at least monthly. It's super cute & there's plenty of seating. The staff is amazing, so friendly and so welcoming. They know their wines, are can help you find whatever you're looking for.

A nice idea for plans for dinner prior or after. The Service and R&B music were excellent here but my date and I find the wine unimpressive. We decided to order 2 flights, so that we could really give everything a fair chance. Riesling is a favorite of mine so I went with that. I also had Chardonnay (not a favorite), red and something similar to Malbec. I only enjoyed the Riesling. This is a very quaint wine shop, there is not a lot of space or seating but it's perfect for just two.

It was a bittersweet moment and I'm glad we chose Cape Fear. Kelly was our waitress and she was outstanding, truly making my last meal at Cape Fear a special one (being that they're a very small chain in NC, I'm unsure if I'll ever be back). The drinks were constantly filled and her service was one of the best I have ever had at any restaurant. I ordered a bunch of food, knowing it would be my last time ever having their risotto, clam chowder, and hushpuppies, along with their delicious fried seafood platter. I had told Kelly I was moving so she made it a spectacular visit and went above and beyond. I will miss Cape Fear. It reminds me of The Hamptons. It's casual but classy. It was a fantastic meal with phenomenal service with an amazing friend. Truly, what could be better?

Zero stars. I could…read morebe wrong, but I believe this is the first "terrible" review I've left on Yelp. We just left this "restaurant" after horrible service before even finalizing our entree orders. This was our first time trying it, and we were excited because we love all kinds of seafood. The restaurant was not very busy. The waitress was friendly and helpful at first. We ordered a mini-crab cake appetizer, which was brought out promptly. At that point we began placing our entree orders. My wife ordered a founder basket. I then ordered the shrimp taco meal. My order was to come with 2 tacos. So, I made a simple request: one with grilled shrimp and one with fried shrimp (since they serve both). I then received a lengthy, stammering explanation of how "they" don't let them do that. I offered to pay the higher of the two prices and explained, since it was our first time there, I was hoping to try different options. However, she maintained this could not be done. So, I requested to speak with a manager. She seemed surprised, but said, " okay," and went to the back. For the next 5 minutes, I waited (a bit annoyed, since I was hungry and knew or order was not even in process). After a little more than 5 minutes, she came back and said, "you can still talk to a manager if you would like, but they asked me to explain ..." Then she went into an explanation that didn't make a lot of sense. I also, at this point was not interested in explanations. It was clear to me that this restaurant has no interest in accommodating even the simplest of customers requests. I asked her for our check and told her we would finish our appetizer, pay, and leave. She told me she could get the manager, but at that point, I told her there was no need. It was clear to me the manager tried to avoid having the initial discussion in the first place, hoping the waitress could get me to accept the answer and move on. We paid and left. I'm usually a very generous tipper (maybe be even too generous sometimes). I try to error in the direction of more, but less. My wife is the same, had hung worked in the service industry, including waitressing for many years. In this case, I left no tip, and wrote a brief explanation on the merchant receipt. I had noticed some of the "don't recommend" reviews on Yelp prior to checking it out, but sometimes I view those as one-offs. In this case, I found myself agreeing wholeheartedly with the reviews indicating they will never be back. Even if ultimately I could not get what I requested, and was even still unconvinced as to a legitimate reason, had this been handled with even a modicum of respect for a paying customer, I likely would have refrained from reviewing at all, instead of this negative review. At no point during this situation was I rude, loud, argumentative, or inappropriate in any way. When a manager doesn't care, that attitude permeates the business. As for the mini crab-cakes, they were okay, but not what I would have expected for the price.
