There were quite a few that were just nubs of cement and whose names and dates were indistinguishable. I'm not sure if this happens because of the weather or age, but there are also a whole line of children there near the front whose dates are readable. No restrooms, looks lovingly cared for, they don't even have a gate surrounding the place. Lots of big trees on the property, it is a lovely, quiet place.

The first place I called said they were too busy. When I called, they answered the phone immediately. He was driving and we made arrangements for him to call me right back, which he did. They were able to help my family immediately, efficiently, and at what I feel was a fair cost. They made a terribly uncomfortable situation as comfortable as possible. Everything was handled very carefully, but we felt as though we were among friends. You did not have to be shy about expressing yourself and they were there to offer as many options and explanations as necessary. Truly, for one of the worst events to have ever happened in my life, I'm not sure they could have done anything differently than they did. When my dad died last year, Tyler Woods performed the cremation for our family. In addition to…read moreperforming the cremation, he stated he would provide the death certificate. However, after contacting him via telephone at least 4 different times as well as sending emails, we have yet to receive either document or any form of communication from him. Every time I contact Mr. Woods, I get essentially the same response that he's currently busy with another matter and will contact me within a few hours. He has not contacted me once by telephone and has not responded to the email I sent. The total lack of communication is very unprofessional. It shouldn't be necessary for families to constantly pursue routine documents, such as death certificates. I truly hope he does better on both communication and customer service. Empathy, respect, and dependability are required when working in an area where people support families during some of the hardest moments in their lives. The final thing a grieving family member wants to experience is added stress and aggravation due to lack of follow through.
