We discovered that my sister was terminally ill and I knew I would have to make funeral arrangements quickly. I remembered how wonderful they were when my father-in-law passed away two years ago. They made an unbearable situation bearable. They got to know me and sat and listened. It was especially hard because we had lost my mother just a year before. All arrangements were made by phone in April and they stayed in touch with us until we could coordinate services at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery & stay on June 3rd.
