Two guys showed up and first power rodded the drain about 15 feet but couldn't go further because was worried it would scratch our thin PVC pipes. Then he camera scoped about 8 feet but then still worried it would damage the PVC pipes. I was disappointed we couldn't go further but I suppose it is what it is. He did clean out a good amount of tree roots and said that was probably the biggest blockage and though we couldn't see the rest, it will probably be OK. He said our pipes looked in OK condition, no holes as far as he could see. He was very nice and answered all of our questions. They did wear booties into the house but like every other contractor, they also wear the booties outside and then back inside everytime they go inside and outside. It was wet outside so some mud was tracked in all the way by the two people. Like I said, this seems to happen with all contractors, just a little nuisance to clean up afterwards. But overall, pleased with the service. They had competitive rates, $485 for the power rod and $200 for the camera. Will call them next time (maybe in 5 years?) when we need another cleaning. Thanks!

The first one he installed was faulty, so he came out a few days later and installed a different one. When I received my bill, it was for $514.39. I knew that I was being way overcharged! I called and spoke to the owner, Sam. Sam was very nice, and went over the bill. He told me he was glad I called because I was being overcharged. Cory, was charging me for his travel time, gas, and who knows what else. Sam took $150 off of my bill. I still think it was high, but I was greatful he took the $150 off. Be careful if Cory is the plumber being sent out to you. He is not honest, and tried to rip me off. If he can rip off a senior citizen, I wouldn't trust him. The owner seemed nice, and I hope he is careful with who he has working for him.

He gave me a quote on the phone (that was a comparable price) and promised someone would be out at 9 a.m. The guys were here at 8:37 a.m. to replace the water heater, which they did quickly. When they were turning the water back on, they said they thought water was on somewhere in the house and had me check my upstairs bathroom. Sure enough, the bathtub faucet was on and I couldn't turn it off. They fixed that, too, and were done before 10 a.m. Instead of running up my costs, they only did the repair work needed (replace the shower stem valve). Then, they gave me a 50% discount on that work and a small credit on the overall bill. I was VERY happy with the work and the cost. I will definitely use Trojan for my future plumbing needs.
