Whenever I had questions, especially being a first pregnancy she always had answers and gave me peice of mind. I had horrible back pain and she suggested several stretches and exercises that I could do on my own and some that my husband could help with and they were really helpful in relieving pregnancy pains. My labor started right when she finished with another labor and she was there for me full of energy. She would ask the nurse to bring me items like a peanut ball, a mirror, or dimming the lights to help me get though labor pains and to feel as comfortable as possible. She always had a very calm voice and touch. I would highly recommend using Marisol as your doula. There is so much information and helpful tips she as a doula will provide for pregnancy, labor, post partum and breastfeeding that is not provided by your OBGYN

I was in labor for basically 4 days, 3 of which were unmedicated at home, and the final stretch was in the hospital. We think now in hindsight I had prodromal labor that transitioned into active labor based on the intensity of the contractions. Marisol was there for basically all of it. My doula was there when I needed her. Her morale and encouragement were so comforting. She helped me stay calm both mentally and physically using a variety of methods. Marisol provided me company and physical relief at home, helping me get to a point where I was 5 centimeters dilated and able to be admitted to the hospital. She stayed up late with me when the contractions prevented me from sleeping; she drew warm baths for me to help relieve muscle tension. She also used physical techniques like a rebozo wrap, a guided miles circuit, and gentle massage to help my contractions be both more productive and less physically painful. She helped me find pockets of rest in between contractions, and helped find food and drink that I could snack on to keep up my strength. When we got to the hospital, she decorated my room with fairy lights, affirmation cards, and tucked lavender oil cotton balls around the room to make it more relaxing and comforting. All of the nurses wanted to do their paperwork in my room because the aesthetic was so chill! Marisol also critically afforded my husband breaks so that he could sleep and get food. I'm really glad Marisol was there to liaison with the medical team on my behalf, and able to help me make calm and well-informed decisions despite my exhaustion.

I have been seeing her for quite some time…read more Anytime I come in her staff is very friendly and outgoing at the O'Fallon location only Dr. Worsena listens to your needs, once and all your problems. She also sits there and let you vent and build a rapport with you. it does not rush you. She takes her time to find out exactly what you're needing to solve migraines in my case so they are not debilitating. I would highly recommend her to anyone with Neuro needs

They found something in my husband's MRI and we were referred to this practice. They were supposed…read moreto call me but, I ended up calling them because I hadn't heard anything. Their voice mail says they will return your call within 24 hours. I called on Thursday, January22nd. I called on Tuesday and was impatient. I called Wednesday and asked if they were just not taking new patients but, you know, if you wanted to return my call.... The lady called Wednesday night, said it was only her and I tried to apologize but she kept talking. Stating this is part of a car accident and obviously, I need to see a different neurologist. I wondered if the doctors she works for knows how rude she is to perspective patients. Except, it's not part of an accident, it's not part of a lawsuit. Today, I called the main BJC number to see about seeing a different doctor. The lady who answered the phone said they had a referral for this office so she calls. Nope, again, the lady tells her she's already talked to me, she is NOT scheduling an appointment for my husband. I guess if he has a stroke before I can get him seen, I know who I could sue since she's now told his primary care and the scheduling lady she refuses to schedule this appointment. (Yes, I can be rude, but I also know that if a customer is irate, my job is to calm them down and try and makes things better. All she had to say was, "I'm sorry, it's just me and I'm really behind on returning calls. I don't know how this doctor's office gets new patients.

Terrible waste of time! My son came in saying he thought he had strep throat, he has had a few…read moretimes. Polite young lady took his temp with a thermometer you hold 1 inch from forehead. It registered no fever. I asked her please try again because I knew he had a fever. It was obvious just touching his forehead. She did again and no fever . Also, step test came back negative however when she swabbed his throat she barely touched the back of his throat. when we arrived home 10 minutes later I personally checked and fever was 101. We went to different urgent care..he tested positive for strep throat! The Nurse practitioner at compass health was more interested in recruiting new patients rather than thoroughly diagnosing my son. She completely dismissed what we were saying. We did call and speak to office as soon as we got home and told them about 101 fever hoping she would call in meds and no response at all.

When you call to make an appointment, you will get a call center and if you have even the slightest question about the appointment you will be transferred to the "back line" - but you will never be given that number because it's super secret. It is supposedly the nurse's line, but you can leave messages all you want, you won't get a response. But if you make a complaint to the State about an aspect of your care not related to the N.P., like I did, you'll get a call the. very. same. day. as. the. complaint. So if you don't care about ever seeing an actual doctor, or about getting your phone calls returned, or having the feeling that the only way to get someone's attention there is by making a complaint to a state licensing board, then this is the place for you.
