I boarded my horses at this ranch and want to share my experience for the sake of other horse…read moreowners who are careful about where they place their animals. While there are some people there who care deeply for the horses, the overall conditions and management practices raised serious concerns during my time there. Water troughs were often left empty until boarders stepped in to fill them, stalls and pens went uncleaned for long periods, and feed frequently contained large, unsafe debris that could cause choking. There were also ongoing issues with manure buildup and strong ammonia odors in the barn. Since leaving, I've learned that it's only gotten worse; about half the horses on the property have become severely underweight and that a number of animals have passed away due to preventable causes. These situations are heartbreaking and show a clear need for better oversight and care standards. I'm sharing this out of concern for the animals and to encourage other horse owners to ask detailed questions, visit frequently, and closely monitor care anywhere they board.
