Pathetic! bought biryani from this place, and found a leg bone inside, nicely chewed. when i called them and complained them about thing, instead of listening to me, they kind of started shouting on me and to shut me up, tried to generously offer me a free biryani, instead of showing some generosity in accepting the fact and explaining me the reason of mistake. would never recommend them, less because of there quality, but more because of there attitude and customer service. read more

They are good but can be better in taste. Consistency matters, and this is where most of desi restaurants fail. Biryani is nice, and seekh kababs were OK. The intensity of taste in qorma and karahi, isn't there. The taste felt similar. Will suggest them to focus on a few items, and make them best. read more

i placed a phone order for EXTRA SPICY biryani i got there and paid AFTER CONFIRMING with the cashier its EXTRA SPICY when they brought me the food i CONFIRED AGAIN if its extra spicy receipt says EXTRA SPICY I get home and i find it to be BLAND no spice at all (mostly PLAIN WHITE RICE) its like they went out of their way to make sure my request was not fulfilled (as if i was making an outrageous request) take my money and give me crap i did not buy. read more

We have been vising Biryani king in norristown from quite some time.Service and food was good earlier .Today we had worst experience .We ordered Biryani and gobi 65.After 30 minutes Gobi 65 was served and we 3 had gobi 65 and waited for Biryani to come It was then 65 minutes and still Biryani didnt came and on asking them we go the reply "Chef is busy" So in 65 minutes we 3 had gobi 65 :).... The food is mostly fine, and the samosa's are great, however, it's the customer service that kills this place. Busy or not, allow at least 30 minutes for an order to be ready to go. The front counter staff regularly disappears to the back for minutes at a time, and keep coming back stating that it's almost ready. And if it is busy, man, make sure you have the right order before you leave. They have no way of tracking orders, not even something simple like an order number, and frequently under package what you are supposed to get. Despite the acceptable food, I simply will not return to this place again, it's just too frustrating to deal with. read more

Taste is fine, beware of the veal biryani, I have ordered it many times to find just one piece of meat and the rest bones. Has anyone else noticed this? Next time you order veal or even lamb, check it out. For $5.99 plus tax I would expect at least a few pieces of meat, meat on the bone is ok too but its a shame to use large bones to fill the box. read more

Bunch of IDIOTS run the shop. I ordered one chicken biriyani and they gave me a beef kabob. Idiots. When I called they straight denied and said we are close and hung up on me. They didn't even bother to listen the mistake that they have caused..such a terrible experience.. They have no sense of customer service. Biryani King sucks!! I would rather drive over to Mississauga than go here. The place is dirty and newspapers all over the floor. They have one server who is a woman with major attitude. She talks to everyone in their local language like we understand it. She cannot speak English properly and is shifty and devious. And to top it all the wait times are so long and all they say is 10 minutes brother, wait 10 minutes. Now onto the food. The portion size is stingy. The taste is good but nothing to rave about. We ordered kebab rolls and got 2 less kebabs which we found out when we reached home (20 minutes later) There was no way I was driving back for those. We waited at least 45 minutes for our original order. And when my husband peeked through the doors to the kitchen, they were serving rice from a huge pot ON THE FLOOR. Yes never again!! read more

I had really bad experience with them when they gave me 5 days old biryani of 6 packs, It too smelly when I take it at home and I had to through it away. Both Raxdale and Brampton have same problems. I always get my biryani after long waiting periods and too many reminder even I ordered on phone, they serve randomly I believe, They never give you receipt and print receipt so they pay no taxes. all orders they prepare manually and you have to tell your order again and again otherwise they mix your order with someone else. if luckily you got your order and biryani is not smelly then taste is good read more

I had a party of 35 people last night that is January 1st, 2014,food was taste less what I had paid did not get the right food order was given for something else and when I got home all dishes were different. I go to this place quite often. Biryani is okay. Few things which I over look like there is no Customer Service, there is a line up and the girl over the counter is on the phone not even Welcoming the customer coming and lining up, people are trying to draw her attention but no response from her still on phone at least for 5 minutes. One Canadian customer got fed up and left. once I got just 1 piece of chicken in Biryani. Twice I got Stale Biryani. But today it was a limit. I got a Biryani, went home and started eating, I ate a little and was shocked to see a cockroach, I felt so bad I through up. Immediately I went to the shop, asked the girl to call the owner, the owner was not there, a guy came, I showed him the cockroach, he looked at it and could't say anything, finally he said I'll change it, I said, what if there are more like this in the pot. The price you pay for the biryani you get is a steal. The portions usually come with a good amount of meat. The wait is usually never long. The selection of dishes is not great but the prices make up for that. They run out of a lot of the food which can be frustrating as only half the already condensed menu is available. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!! I'm not sure if I had the same biryani that the people are raving about. There wasn't enough meat in the lamb and boneless chicken biryani. It was like digging for gold in the Klondikes. The taste of the biryani wasn't even close to the best I've had. I'm from out of town and went to this location strictly based on the reviews left by customers. I just don't know if I went on a bad day or if the people leaving good reviews just don't know what good food tastes like. I'm guessing I just went on a bad day. This was a one time try and I wouldn't go back again. I wouldn't really recommend this place for biryani. I didn't try anything else from there so I can't comment on that. Ordered goat biryani and chicken biryani both very spicy. Take out quantity was good but the chicken/goat qty was less. Also, spice was missing in biryani. It was mild biryani.. I would prefer it when I don't want to eat spicy. read more

Found this place on yelp and decided to go with it as it was closest to my home, and didn't want to drive far. Got there and tried to order vegetable biryani, but was told they didn't have any so ordered I chicken biryani, 1 chana masala and one other tomatoe/spinach dish as I asked what else was vegetarian. The staff taking the order were rude and if you had any questions at all were annoyed. The food was served fast...I think I waited 10 mins. Asked for raita in my order (which comes with the biryani) and got home and it wasn't there. Was pissed about that as the rice didn't really have much flavour. My husband said the spinach dish was nasty and was mostly oil. Even for the amazing price of $20 for 3 dishes, I won't eat there again!!! read more

We as a family used to love their Veal Biryani until recently I picked up few boxes of Veal Biryani to entertain a last minute guest. It was all pile of rice and few small pieces of meat mostly bones. One can imagine the embarrassment in front of guests. For last 5 times we ordered over the phone, we were asked to pick up our order after 20 mins but after 20mins when we reached we had to wait for another 30 mins to get the order which was not bearable.. Biryani are readymade they can never start making biryani after customers reach so I could never understand why they take 50 mins to just pack the biryani that is ready to go...If it was Nun it had to be prepared after the order...So it looks like they are not quite customer oriented or are least bothered what their customers feel like.... Nobodys complain will ever be heard...They truly have a very thick skin... Desperately needs to work on their customer skills to continue in the business... Three of my friends along with me will never visit their place again only because of their bad customer service...The owner should really take these things serously... read more
