Been going to this place over the years, past couple of years noticed a steady decline in service quality. Today was the last straw for me. Waited almost 40 mins for my order while other walk ins got theirs way before me. Biryanis still good, this is what kept me coming back. Today I have ordered chicken tikka masala and garlic naan. Naan was thick and bready, not at all what it should be, I had a proper naan multiple times in the past. This was not it. Chicken tikka masala was anything but, wtf? See the picture and judge for yourself. Recommend the biryanis still, but won't be coming back after today.

Slightly less than 3* 'cause I waited like 10-15mins for a regular Chicken Biryani. Don't they just scoop rice and plop a coupla pieces of chicken in a styro container?? Note: Take-out ONLY! Adjacent to Rona, this place is literally a counter, with some snacks, and a cash register on it. With the exception of a coupla benches & chairs, there is no seating whatsoever. Yes, prices are cheap. A regular, i.e. "with bone", Chicken Biryani was $5.50, including tax. Boneless/lamb/shrimp was more expensive, $6.99, before taxes. Biryani was one of the better ones that I've had, even raita was good. However, service is sloooow. I stood in front of the cash for a few minutes before my order was taken. (There was a girl grabbing some snacks out of the showcase, but she never acknowledged me.) Actually getting the biryani was even slower. Amongst the noisy workers in the back, I thought I heard one worker exclaim, "There wasn't fresh rice!!", so I'm assuming that they had to cook more. Lady who took my order never said anything to me about the food coming soon. If I was in the area, very unlikely that I'd be deep in Brampton, and I was craving biryani, I wouldn't rule this out. Having said that, I wouldn't drive out of my way either!

A good take out place by the passport office. No fuss at all, just basics. There is one cashier behind the counter and the menu on the wall. Got the order within 5 minutes and it was nice and hot. Samosas are a little bit more than competitive pricing $2.50 for 3 but they were great. I could actually taste the morsels of meat and it had a slight kick of spice, but wouldn't kill my non spicy eating friends. The dough on the outside was also thin, so the meat to carb ratio was good. Chicken Biryani with bone was under $5. She accidentally rung up the boneless one for $2 more, but after I insisted I really am ok with the bone in one (I like the fatty pieces of chicken) she changed the order back. Huge take out box filled to the brim with rice with 2 big pieces of chicken and a nice chutney. Good spice again! If I'm in the area I'd definitely swing by for another cheap lunch! They also have a few curries I'd like to try!

Worst Food. I tried their biryani and it was rubbish. Potatoes were raw and black. They should focus on their quality and customer service.

When they first opened the food was great. Their quality and quantity have gone down a lot now. Customer service is non existent.

So I usually do a yake out of mains as they have a long wait for dinner but if i am in mood to enjoy appetizers i will definitely visit them by 6. Now why 3 stars- when generally they don't do reservations. But for a party of 6 or more they do and charge 18% gratuity by default. And in one of our visits they added gratuity and without informing they also asked for tipped. Blind sided us ( 2 families) paid 15 % on top, which was way more than actual bill, as 15 percent was paid on total bill . After going home when we realized, we called them but they refused to do anything. We felt like cheated and misinformed.

The space itself is very cool, with lots of interesting artwork on the walls and a big bar at the front where you enter the restaurant. The menu is extensive so we had a bit of a hard time choosing what to try but we ended up with the gol cuppe, hare masalay ki tikka app (basically spiced and fried potato patties), malai chicken tikka, fish masala and avadhi paneer, jeera rice, and dahi (yogurt) with butter naans. I was surprised they don't offer a specific kids menu but perhaps they may add one in the future. The food was tasty and presented nicely - my fave dish was the paneer. There did seem to be a bit of a wait in between dishes but that was ok as we were having a family visit and not in a rush anyway. Our servers were nice but again were a bit slow to check in, etc. Would like to return again to try more dishes including the fusion pasta items as they sound very interesting.

The only thing that I didn't like the first time around, and didn't like this time around either, was the lighting. It was much too dark in the restaurant, even though it was daytime. We were even sitting at a table near the bar, which had potlights however, it was still dark. We were served by Nimrat, whom brought over our menus, and allowed us ample time to order our items. I had settled on butter chicken, with a side order of regular naan, and plain rice. The food took a bit long to arrive however, since there were seven in our group, I understood why the food took longer to prepare. However, once the food came, I was very happy with how delicious everything was! The butter chicken came in a large dish, which was placed on top of a small pot with a flame inside, which kept the butter chicken hot during my entire visit; this was a great addition to the meal! The naan was an excellent accompaniment, along with the plain rice; everything was well-prepared, with the perfect amount of flavouring. It also wasn't spicy, which is perfect for my taste buds; this chef definitely knows how to cook an excellent meal! Nimrat checked on us regularly, filling our glasses with water, and taking away any dishes that we had finished with. Even the owner came by to greet us, and ask how we were enjoying everything. Overall, this place had excellent food, with wonderful service provided by Nimrat, and beautiful décor. The only thing that I didn't like was the lighting however, I would definitely come back.

This place opens at 5 pm so no lunch .... open for late night dinner till 2 am. Went in , restaurant had an overwhelming bouquet of Indian food , after few minutes felt like their exhaust was not working and all kitchen smoke was flowing in . Not good for dine in but we resisted n ordered chicken tikka masala n dal makhani with garlic butter naan .First the servers are not dine in friendly as we ordered the server said " u will have to wait for 50 min as we are too busy with take out orders " , though the restaurant was almost empty with 2 tables occupied . We were patient n waited . To our good luck food arrived in 38 minutes . Vooooooo yeah ! Food looked appetizing , tried the crispy butter garlic naan with dal makhni n chicken tikka masala . To my surprise the food was tasty . Though it lacked authenticity but it was a great creation by the chefs toward the success of the gourmet ! Most irritating n uncalled in the whole experience was the lack of oxygen in the restaurant to breathe with all the smoke around . Though the food experience was good but I may not visit again due to unhealthy ambience . 3 stars for the food !!!!
