Upon purchasing this vehicle late last year (12/29/2020?) we were told that there was previously an engine tick which was caused by a bad Idler pulley and that issue had been solved by swapping that component out. It very quickly became apparent that was not the cause of the issue and that a faulty exhaust manifold was to blame. 01/30/2021 I set up an appointment with the service department and brought the vehicle in. The mechanic on staff refused to look into the issue, stating that it would be "too difficult" and that I needed to leave the vehicle there overnight in order for them to replicate the issue. After reaching out to the salesman who sold us the vehicle we were able to get the mechanics in the service shop to look at the exhaust manifold as I suggested a month ago. They did not need to leave the vehicle overnight to look for a leak. Also they found a leak, no surprise there. They agreed to fix the exhaust manifold and ordered new parts. We made an appointment for (03/02/2021) with the understanding that the parts would be in by now.  Two hours after dropping the vehicle off I received a phone call from the shop stating that the parts were not in yet. I also mentioned that the truck locks up in park and I was late to work because I could not shift into reverse. They (service shop) agreed to look into the matter. The salesman I worked with also asked the service manager to look into the issue with the shift lever. 03/03/2021 I came in to pick up my vehicle and I was told that the parts were still on back order. I told them I would come back tomorrow. 03/04/2021 I came in and picked up the truck. To my knowledge the exhaust manifold has been repaired. I was told that they were unable to fix the issue with the shift lever because they could not replicate the issue. Once the vehicle was parked in my driveway the shifter locked in park again and I am having a difficult time getting the vehicle out of park. I no longer plan on doing any business with this dealership or service shop for the following reasons. 1. The condition of a vehicle needs to be fully disclosed at the time of sale. 2. The service department should be willing and able to diagnose problems and correct them without the customer walking them through the process. 3. Repair work needs to happen in a timely fashion, and it is simply unacceptable for a shop to make appointments with the customer and then turn them away once, let alone several times consecutively. read more

Awesome salesman, Awesome company, Awesome experience!! I had been looking for a Nissan Armada for a couple of months on the internet and decided since I would be in Bismarck that I was going to go and test drive one and probably purchase. We stopped at Bismarck Motor Co. (because I had googled Nissan Armada in Bismarck, ND and it brought me to the Bismarck Motor Co website) to look at a couple of options and Gregory Brown came over to my husband and I as soon as we got out of our vehicle. He went and got the keys and allowed us to look inside the vehicle. He was very informed on how the vehicle worked and it's many amenities. He asked if we would like to test drive it. I loved it from the moment I spotted it, and he reassured me it was a good vehicle and that one of the saleman there had one himself. It drove great on the test drive. I asked if we could look at a couple of other options (just so I didn't buy the first one I saw). He showed me one other Armada they had on the lot (they did have 2 the prior day but one had sold). Gregory told me the major differences between the two and I was set on the first one. Gregory was great in the purchasing process. To start, we were from out of town and had our dog with us so he made us feel like it was no big deal to bring our dog into the store (in his kennel of course) because it was 90 degrees outside and we didn't want to leave him in a hot car, or leave our car running for a couple of hours. I wanted to trade in my current vehicle, and he was able to get me what I wanted out of it. Gregory made the process run smooth keeping us updated on each step of the process. A couple of employees even came up and made small talk with us while we waited. The business manager was very informative and helpful. The shop department got the car prepared in a very timely manner in order for us to take our new vehicle home that day. All in all, I was EXTREMELY happy with everybody at the Bismarck Motor Company, but especially our Salesman Gregory Brown. My bride and I were in the market for a vehicle that i could easily get in and out of as i have had 4 1/2 back and 2 neck surgeries and it is very hard to enter and exit anything other than a pickup. We met George Anderson one of the fine sales people there and he had us try a Honda CRV EX-L and it fit and worked perfectly for us and especially me. We are up in age and i have also suffered mini-strokes so my memory isn't good sometimes. George took the time to slowly and carefully go over everything with us and also said to call or email him anytime if we have a question or concern. You can't beat that with a stick! I am a busy 911 dispatcher and foster mom in Minot. I reached out to Bismarck Motor Company after searching in Minot with no success. I was so glad that I did, I told the lady that answered the phone what I was looking for, what I wanted to spend and there was specifically a Pilot on the lot that I was interested in. There were no pictures of it and she said she would have a sales representative reach out to me to get me photos of it.
