Service was excellent and attentive but not hovering. After leaving burgundy we went to Paris and had dinner at le Cinq in the George 5 hôtel, one of the top restaurants in the world and looking back at hostelliere, still found that restaurant very good in comparaison. Additionally, we had bottles of Dauvissat les clos and an '05 raveneau Clos and they were both excellent and evidenced that they had been meticulously preserved. I can't wait to go back to this restaurant.

Everything is textbook, Oeufs en Meurette, Boeuf Bourguignon, and the best Gougeres I've ever had. Wine list is predictably laden with local choices, including Chablis at reasonable prices.
