The prices here are most times a little lower than other locations.. they have long hoses that will reach the other side of the car if that is where you tank is location. Not usually a long wait... Remember you need your physical BJ's card to get the discount... and if you purchase items at BJ's with the gas tank sign, you save a little more. BJ's Mastercard holders will save a little more... This is the best priced gas you're going to get anywhere around here! It's a bit of a hike, but I'll make it a point to come here. To start off, there are a dozen pumps arranged in parallel and a line of 2-3 cars are usually lined up at each. The hoses are long enough to reach to the other side of your car, so you don't always have to drive up to the pump with your gas cap on that side. It can be a bit of a pain to reel out the line, but I would rather do that than have to waste gas idling my engine, while waiting for some slow-poke to learn how to operate a gas pump. BJ's sells only 2 grades of gas, regular 87 octane and premium 93. Prices are posted and are usually 20¢-30¢ cheaper than surrounding stations, but if you're not a BJ's club member, you'll have to pay 10¢ more. If you also use the BJ's Master Card at the pump, you get a 10¢ per gallon discount. When they send you the coupon booklet in the mail, look for the High-Octane coupons for Club sale items like Bounty towels, Hellman's Mayonnaise or Skippy Peanut Butter. For each one of those items you buy with the coupon, you get another 10¢ per gallon discount, so potentially, they said that you can pay as low as 2¢ per gallon! The lowest I've ever gotten it was when it started at $2.08 and got it down to $1.58. Gas prices are not consistent between different BJ's Gas stations as well. I've come here to shop plenty of times. I decided to return my bottles here on 9/12 and needed someone to clear out the machines. Jimmy M saw me looking around like a lost child. He immediately stopped what he was doing (collecting carts) and came over to help me. He explained to me that one of the machines has me screen but works and the other had to be cleared. Every time I looked around for him, he saw me and ran to assist me asap. We talked about how great of a company BJs is as far as benefits and pay. We talked about him going back to school. I told him about my job as a way to try to recruit and he's so loyal to BJs that he didn't want to me to waist my breath on recruiting. LOL! Great guy. Young employees with a heart are very hard to find. Alot of them just don't give a care about what they do and he's here defying the stereotypes. A convenient BJs wholesale location close to place of business and all the businesses that exist in Farmingdale/Melville area as a whole. This location has fuel, as not all locations do. It is a heavily trafficked fueling spot. Usually you wait anywhere from 5 - 15 minutes to actually get to the pump to fuel up. *Remember you have to be a BJs wholesale member to utilize these pumps. The cost usually averages 5 to 8 cents less a gallon than other surrounding fueling stations. Other than trying to remember not to fuel up while the big truck is there churning up the underground basins, this is a good cost savings option if you are a driver like me. All in all pretty clean location, handles are never super dirty. So if in these parts, feel free to find this discount in your food journey all along the Rt110 strip. Great prices on gas so I was super happy for that. Saves 30c per gallon and more if I go to a Shell station! I was in need of emergency gas after leaving the beach on Labor day. Of course the prices were jacked up everywhere. So I added 2 gallons (Yup my $ was being saved for a bango bowl) to make it to bjs the next day. Would have gotten 5 stars but I filled my tank in farmingdale. ---- the pump did not stop automatically!!! Scary. This never happened before it overflowed out of my tank onto my car and the ground. Still was dripping out as I put it the pump back. Then the machine didn't print the receipt! If I wasnt rushing to work I would have went inside but I kinda just wanted to get as far as I could.
