Driving back to Texas from Alabama, out car started making a high pitched screeching sound, late afternoon on a Friday. We got lucky and pulled into a Wal-Mart, but they don't do repair work. An employee however said he knew someone close by who owns a shop, and he called him. Within MINUTES, the owner showed up and took a look. Honestly, we have had bad luck with mechanics, doing bad work and charging exhorbitante fees, we were prepared for the worst, the engine sounded terrible and we were in small town MS, we figured an overnight stay and pricey repair bill. We got the car to their shop, granted, not impressive in appearance, but they had a group of guys, late in the day on Friday, when they were preparing to go home for the night. The owner identified a badly shredded serpentine belt as the issue. They obtained a replacement then noticed the pulleys were very bad, again, we were fully prepared for the full "gotcha" repair price. The got replacement pulleys, did the full repair. I had googled estimates for similar repairs and I was prepared for a 2x- 3x the average repair for the bill. Not only was it not, it was on the lower end of the expected repair range and they did it in an incredible time frame for a family of 4 that really needed to get back on the road. I don't give many 5 stars, but this place easily earned it, and a few more stars if I could, very highly recommended, unfortunately they are not local to me, otherwise they would be my repair/maintenance shop of choice going forward.

I'd just spent $550.00 in Texas to assure a safe sound travel for the summer. When my car started to "freak out" as the alternator was going out and my battery was self destructing... I got off 20 and rolled into a less than Motel... in a bit of a panic. Beyond stressed! Yelp had 6 suggestions... Wade's Auto had 6 very shiny reviews. I was curious how a shop could maintain such a streak of positivity , it didn't seem possible. I'd worked for a mechanic before in Texas... you can't make sure everything and everyone is happy... it's just a challenging business. Wade can! He is honest. He is as reliable as his overwhelmed present (5/22) state can be. He is a neurotic perfectionist and does not suffer fools. Get out the way and let the man work and you'll get your car truly repaired with all the information you need to know about anything else he may have run across. It's a guarantee of service hard to find these days. There is nothing that compares to an honest craftsman and his life's encyclopedic knowledge as it applies to your investment and your safety. This man has earned a 5+++ in my experience with him.

We had just left a shell station and we immediately knew something was wrong with a tire. I pulled…read moreoff to the side of the road and sure enough. A large bolt sticking out of the tire. We knew there was a tire shop down the road, near the state park we were camping at. Its a small privately owned tire shop. Luckily for us. The owner pulled in right after we did. He promptly removed the tire. Did a "commercial " patch on it. Which by the way, is the way a true tire patch is done. He balanced the tire and got us back on the road. Didn't give you a run around and his cost was lower than I thought it was going to be.
