I was in for breakfast and unfortunately it was a bad experience. I got the big breakfast and I was very unhappy. The eggs were way over cooked. Sausage was over cooked and very cold. Beans had black burnt stuff in them. Ham was over cooked and cold. Coffee didn't taste good. I payed 18 bucks for a breakfast that was disappointing. No I didn't say anything I don't trust saying anything and having someone do something. My waitress was very nice. And definitely wasn't apart of my bad experience. I left unhappy. read more

5 of us went for breakfast on Sunday. 15 minutes wait for coffees and menus. We left after waiting another 1/2 hour for the waitress to come back to take our order. Another couple seated behind us left as well. We understand that Sunday mornings are a busy time but management should plan accordingly and have more staff on hand read more

Zero star. Staff can't remember orders and cooks can't cook. This place used to be good. I was a multi weekly customer for a long time. Once upon a time they could cook a breakfast but over the last 3 straight visits, they can't seem to cook to what was requested. First scrambled fluffy, tried that a couple times and they come out burnt like pancakes. Next two was fried over easy. How hard is it to do over easy? Especially when it's the owner cooking your food. Is it his fault or the waitresses who can't do their jobs? After my last horrible visit to black angus I'll never return. I've never reviewed anything but I've never been to a place that screws up more than the black angus. Here's a tip........... continual training for staff or find someone who can remember "over easy". read more

I go here for family breakfasts regularly. Good food. Good service. Pretty fast. Nice people. They keep your coffee topped up too! Basic diner food - except the meat is local, no-antibiotic, free range (or something like that). They are easy going with substitutions too. Ask for "half and half" if you want a smaller portion of homefries plus some tomato slices to make breakfast a little lighter/healthier. If you like your perogies fried after they are boiled, ask for "Joan's Perogies". read more

I go here a lot. Staff is super friendly.... but over the past few months, quality control needs some attention. Desserts are amazing, Eggs are okay, coffee good... but toast is always (ALWAYS) barely toasted, and soggy (has a big glob of butter right in the middle)... how hard is it to make toast? Also, the edge of the tables are often sticky with syrup (this is a pet peeve of mine). My husband refuses to go back, but I'm holding on, hoping they will improve. Just don't go on a Sunday... service is super slow. All other days are fine. read more
