        Seit 1964 gibt es die "Kult-Kneipe" im Herzen von Braunscheig. Geändert hat sich in den letzten Jahren wenig. Auch die Öffnungszeiten wurden nie angetastet. Deshalb gibt es auch zukünftig immer von 21 Uhr bis 5 Uhr morgens warme Küche im "Black Button". Das Lokal wird im Sinne von unserer Renate weiter geführt, die 54 Jahre 362 Tage im Jahr immer für die Kunden im Button vor Ort war und für Ihre Gäste immer ein offenes Ohr hatte. Natürlich ist das "Black Button" weiterhin eine Kneipe die bis morgens um 5 Uhr von der Currywurst bis zum Schnitzel alles anbietet. Willkommen sind uns Nachtschwärmer aller Couleur. Die Kneipe ist so wie sie ist Kult und wir feiern 2019 das 55 jährige Bestehen. Dieses sollte sich auch in den Bewertungen nieder schlagen. Zu schnell wird hier das negativ bewertet, wofür wie stehen, für Kult ohne "Schicki Micki". Wir freuen uns, wenn Ihr mit uns Ihr mit uns Renates Andenken bewahrt..         Established in 1964.

        1964 nehmen sich Renate und Dieter Franke ein Herz und eröffnen in der damaligen "Ilses Weinstube" Braunschweigs mittlerweile ältestes Nachlokal: Das "Black Button". Nach dem Tod im Jahr 2018 von Dieter Franke und dem altersbedingten Ausscheiden aus dem Betrieb von Renate, versuchen wir als Team das Andenken zu bewahren, aber auch neue Wege zu gehen. Es soll bleiben was ist ist, eine "Kultkneipe" mit gutem Essen, kühlen Getränken und gelegentlichen Veranstaltungen im Herzen von Braunschweig.

You can't miss Cafe Del Sol as it is strategically well placed on a major roundabout. It seems to have achieved some sort of cult status for Sunday brunch, but my experience was an early evening one. I was shocked by how popular this place is. Deservedly, I think. I was particularly impressed by the fact that artificial flavours, etc for all dishes are list towards the back of the menu. I have not come across anywhere before where MSG was identified! Another pleasant surprise are the ultra-modern and hygienic Dyson hand dryers in the toilets. Staff were a bit overworked but extremely friendly. This is a family-friendly place without completely giving over to kids. Somehow they succeed in offering something for all ages, tastes, etc without succumbing to the lowest common denominator. And once you're inside you also forget all the traffic nearby.
