When it came to my bouquet, it was nothing like what I was supposed to get. When the flowers were delivered the day of the wedding, I said whose is this and Rick said yours. I said it looked nothing like what it was supposed to and he said yes, I have the picture. I said no it doesn't and before I knew it he was gone. Disappeared from the building. I know there was nothing that could have been done at that point but he could have apologized instead of disappearing like a coward. My only requirements were that the flowers were colorful, included sunflowers and were more modern and organic -- other than that, Tolani had free reign. Tolani took off with my ideas and brought her artistry to the forefront, she included seasonal blooms and had fun with the bouquets and extra design elements. She is a true artist that approaches her work with intention, care and thoughtfulness. The one particularly special stand out was the design she did to honor my late dad. After we talked through some inspiration, Tolani created a beautiful remembrance chair full of foliage and flowers to accompany a photo of my dad at our ceremony. I cried so much when I saw it the day of my wedding -- it was so lovingly done and meant so much to me and my family. Everyone was blown away by it. Tolani really listened to our needs and was flexible with us as we had a limited budget. She also moved with us to our new date when we had to postpone due to the pandemic and allowed us to purchase our own vases instead of renting them so people could take them home.
