I have been to this Public many times over the years and never had a bad experience. My latest visit in was to scoop up a few items the family had forgotten on the initial grocery run for the week. This included the standard snacks, desserts and a few meat items. I was able to find everything I was after without issue. Everything was where I expected it and the shelves were full, which was nice considering it was the week of July 4th. My only gripe was the meat prices...ground beef was pushing $9/lb, which is wild to me! I get this is a Publix and it is located in a tourist town, but sheesh! Good quality, as always, but this combined with a few other increased price tags had me in my feelings at checkout. Service is always top notch here. Cashiers and baggers were friendly and chatty during checkout. The store is clean and well kept, but it is beginning to show its age in some areas. Overall, solid Publix location. Them prices though...they need a few more BOGO deals!

The…read moreman making the sushi asked if I wanted a roll fresh for myself so obviously I did and it only took him a couple minutes to make a fresh new roll for me. The selection of sushi is also way better than the Publix at breakfast point marketplace. I wish I knew the names of the workers because I would definitely ask to give them raises.

The thing that I really didn't like is the unfriendly employees at this store. The cashier is rude, gave him my bags, he threw them on the end and then proceeded to bag in plastic. I was puzzled. He then said you wanted in bags, emptying the groceries out and pushed them to the end for me to bag. A few minutes later he decided to help. Just odd behavior. I would gladly bag myself, didn't know I was supposed to at this store. A little communication is a good thing.

The exterior was well maintained and was easy to enter and exit. The fuel pumps were in great condition and it definitely seems to be a popular stop for the locals on a weekday morning. I didn't need to go inside so I didn't have any interaction with the staff here - it's always nice when the receipt dispenser works perfectly when traveling outside your area which saves a lot of time and a walk inside when it's not necessary. I'll definitely remember this stop when traveling across the state and stop in again if needed...
