The size of the hall allows plenty of space for toddlers to burn of their excess energy and there is a seperate safe area for babies. It's set up so the kids play in the middle (the dance floor) and the seats and tables are all around the edge so you can always see your kids but far enough away that you can have a conversation. It's an ideal venue for mums meeting up or going alone with kids (they provide the latest magazines).

Granted he usuallly sits inside and watches peter pan on the televison they have, but hey if he's having fun then i'm happy! The room is the function room therefore is a large space and is big enough for lots of children to come and play. Parents can sit at the sides without having to worry about the kids running away as safety measures are in place with child gates. so they can sit back and relax/have a natter with the other mums/dads/aunts/uncles/granny's and let there child have fun. There are also a selection of magazines/books available for you to browse through. There is refreshments available for a small charge, but there is a great selection to choose for even for the kids. I was very impressed when I first went, and would definately recommend it to anyone who has young toddlers. Runaround operates three days a week and is a great addition for the youngsters of Dingwall, especially as there is limited things for them to do.

This is not like a normal golf club. The atmosphere is very relaxed and they even accept jeans in the club house. The staff all give a genuine Scottish down to earth welcome. Great golf with great service…read more As you drive through the fields across from Inverness you can't quite tell you're about to play a world class golf course. Rye grass and bluffs shield the clubhouse until you turn the last corner. Staff is incredibly personable and knowledgable. The pro shop is well equipped with the best merchandise I saw in Scotland (including St. Andrews) Many brands like KJUS that you can't get in the US. We enjoyed lunch in the clubhouse overlooking the course and the Moray Firth. Leather chairs and dark wood appointments accentuate the many windows of the clubhouse. Our server Charlotte was kind and attentive. The course itself is in immaculate shape. What we couldn't control was the wind and our general mediocre play. Most holes are along the water so you always have a great view. We did encounter 40 MPH winds toward the end of round with made the long par 5 18 incredibly difficult. Do yourself a favor and visit Castle Stuart during your next trip to Scotland.

Located near the King Mills Hotel the greens were absolutely stunning along with the view. If you plan on playing here be sure that you know somebody who's part of the club.

We were visitors from the US who planned our whole holiday around it, and will never forget it. Our guide was top notch, highly skilled with horse care and communication, and focused on both horse happiness and guest safety. I am a veterinarian and horse owner, and my observation is these horses are extremely well cared for and love their jobs. Each morning, they are ready to get on the road. Overnight accommodations were at lovely small inns. Guests help care for their horse and can expect up to 8 hours in the saddle each day. And every hour was something new and amazing to see. Recommended for confident riders who can handle rough terrain and have excellent balance in the saddle. I am 50+ and rode with my 18 year old daughter and it was an amazing ride for both of us. The owners work their tails off to make this happen, and I am so appreciative of them.

And they take on riders very responsibly, matching them with horses that are best for their skill level, and making sure the ride is safe and enjoyable. The ride is beautiful, through the forest and to the beach and back. But they have a variety of different types of riding on offer, everything from a 1-2 hour trail ride to working holidays. But really. The people are lovely. The horses are really lovely and well taken care of. You won't regret your experience.

There is even a surprise appearance by Nessie on one of the pathways (Nessie made from a log, that is). Mainly, however, this park is a great place to enjoy the beauty of the Ness River and the wooded surroundings. The park is accessed following the riverside trail downriver (south) from city centre until you reach the footbridge that crosses to the islands. We walked the west side of the river to get there and the east side back. Of course, you can so this in reverse if you prefer as there is indeed a similar bridge on the east side of the river as well. If you are in Inverness, this is worthwhile, especially in good weather in the summer when sundown is not until 10-ish PM. You can do this in the evening without taking time from your daytime activities. It's only about a 15-minute walk from town.

Macloud has made improvements on 3 holes (I believe) making Tain gettable yet challenging. Sheep are visible (and audible!) on nearly every hole. The wind will test you on holes 16-18 but will also provide you with eagle opportunities on several holes. Tain is about an hour north of Inverness. Put it on your list!
