They are older and have specific needs. The owner/manager is extremely knowledgeable, and she truly listened to our concerns. The are now using 'taste of the wild' and THEY LOVE IT!!. The location is fantastic. We live in new Kensington so this is very convenient. Her garden supplies as well as her pet products make this store a winner. He was…read moreso convincing that I said ok. what a nightmare, they had no idea about landscaping, there workers were nagging and asking me for ice water and cigarettes. they didn't even have a wheelbarrow, they were putting the mulch in plastic bags and pooling it from my driveway . finally, we lend them our wheelbarrow to use, it was ridiculous. They promised that they were doing the edging, they didn't have an edger, so the guy war using shovels to edge, and they quit after couple of them. they didn't even have a fork to spread the mulch. And they got the wrong mulch. they wanted $3K cash, I paid them so I can get rid of them. May be they are good at cutting trees but, please don't hire them for landscaping. They don't know what they are doing at all.

I'm recovering from surgery and physically unable to handle the lawn myself. With weeds getting out of control, I was depending on them to follow through , especially since we're at risk of a visit from code enforcement. After they received our payment, Big Ed's completely disappeared. No job done. No refund. No responses to multiple follow-ups. This is not just unprofessional; this is a scam. They took the money and vanished. Do not trust this business with your time or money. Avoid at all costs.
