The owner approached me aggressively and demanded I stop filming his crew working. When I explained I was taking the video for my son, he said that I "needed to ask before filming his crew." Yes, sir please let me interrupt your work on a driveway in order to ask you if I can take a video for my son to see some of your equipment in action. I explained there is no expectation of privacy in someone's front driveway when filming from the street and he swore at me. When I asked him if he found me so threatening, he said "No, but I am" and reached out to shake my hand in a menacing manner. I realize that going to a fire is far more exciting than meeting with a prospective client. These last minute cancellations have happened to me twice before with other companies I have made appointments with in the past year. It must be clearly understood by the managers of these companies that people often times have to take time off from work and deal with other inconveniences to meet with workmen and last minute cancellations are unacceptable. You only get one chance with me. Next time I will reschedule and purposely miss the appointment and let them know what it's like to have someone waste your time.

During the job, however, our garage door and the surrounding metal casing were damaged. To his credit, he offered to file an insurance claim. We agreed instead on a simpler solution--he offered to come back and seal the driveway at no cost. Since then, I've followed up multiple times over an extended period to try to schedule the sealing, but unfortunately haven't been able to get a response. I'm sharing this not to be negative, but in hopes of reconnecting and getting this resolved. The work itself was strong, and based on that experience, I'd still like to see this situation brought to a fair close.
