I had my choice of artist and after reviewing the shop's website and the gallery of each artist's work, I liked Joel's floral work ( my tat has yellow roses in it). The shop is well lit and a good layout. It is also very clean. They use padded massage tables for you to lie/sit on, while the artist is on a roll around stool. Like I said earlier, Joel worked efficiently, keeping me comfortable as possible while getting the job completed. I would recommend Black Anvil to anyone considering a tattoo. They have some amazing artists to choose from and handle your experience in a friendlly and professional manner.

I had never been to Studio 13 before, and was really happy when I walked in, and saw how great the inside looked - plenty of light coming in, clean, semi-private spaces for each artist. The man at the front desk was very pleasant, explained the electronic paperwork to me, and my appointment was on time. After Austin was finished, my picture was taken with the studio's camera, and then they offered to take pictures of it on my phone for me, which I really appreciated.
