From bold traditional, to fine line, black and grey, portraits, realism, and illustrative tattooing- there is an artist that will fit your needs. My experience with each artist has always been an enjoyable and I refer my family and friends there. The artists that work and own this shop are extremely talented, knowledgeable and work very hard to hone their craft. You will not find a better shop in the area. This place is hands down the best tattoo place in Fort Wayne. I am in the process of a full length sleeve on my arm and Dusty has handled it so incredibly well. The line work is impeccable, the color is vibrant and I know that it is going to last a long, long time. I have my fourth session coming up in two weeks and I can not wait, I always feel welcomed and comfortable at my sessions. I have actually had someone approach me while I was out shopping one day to ask about my sleeve because they recognized that it was Dusty's work, so that says something about the mark Dusty has made on the tattoo world. The guys at Black Anvil Tattoo are some of the best in the business. Dusty Neal, Nate Click (scripts like a boss), Beau Guenin and company are the most talented artists I have ever met and are worth the travel to get a quality tattoo. I have traveled to the fort numerous times to get work done by them and have referred friends as well, that have traveled, and all have come back extremely happy with their work. They are worth the Trip to Fort Wayne. Talent is busting out of the second story windows of the Colonial Building on Wayne St. How that building contains their talent I'll never know. read more

This is by far my favorite shop to get my beautiful tattoos. It is a VERY clean and organized shop, which is super important to me. Always busy, but you never feel rushed. The atmosphere is amazing and is in general a beautiful shop in a great location. All of the dudes are super talented and I have always had outstanding service during my visits. Originally found out about Black Anvil Tattoo on Instagram I believe. First got tattooed by Dusty Neal when the shop came to Michigan, I had such a great experience that later on the same year (yesterday) I ended up driving down to the shop. The drive took about 4 hours each way, but was WELL worth it. The shop was very clean, had just a good vibe about it and made me feel very welcome and comfy. This is THE tattoo shop to go to in Indiana. The artists there are professional, friendly, and experienced. Most importantly, they're all true artists. You can't go wrong with any of the guys from the shop. All five of my tattoos have been done by Nate Click. His tattoos and artwork are always impressive.
