First not knowing the area and second we're in a foreign country which makes it ultra difficult. Keeping my hair and beard neatly trimmed is a must, within a two week period my beard will grow 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch, my hair just as fast. My wife agreed to my growing of the beard only if I kept it in check. Being of Italian decent my thick black hair, now silver gray keeps growing at a fast pace.

Hubs got a bit restless as the cut/beard-trim took a bit longer this time but when he was done, he legit looked like he stepped out of GQ magazine. From the moment you walk through the door you know it's truly a mans place. Full bar available, manicure and pedicure available, full hot towel shaves. The barbershop is real, Luis has been my barber always. When women talk about a spa day, this place tops it for us men. I've taken my buddies here, early morning reservations and afterwards lunch on the beach. Come spend the day relaxing haircut, shave, mani/pedi cocktails and lunch on the beach. What a fun day! I paid $63 usd for a trim and treatment. On the phone I confirmed the price and services I'd be getting and was told $600 pesos for cut treatment and style so I booked. At checkout they claimed it's actually $600 for haircut and another $600 for treatment. I didn't have time to be blow dried and they claimed to give me a discount for that but it was a lie I paid $1200 pesos. I like to tip generously but did not because I felt ripped off. Confirm pricing so you don't get the American tax.

One of the reasons I often don't get haircuts is because stylus get frustrated with how much hair I have and they tend to pull and rip my hair. Christian was so patient! He methodically went through all of my hair combing it out, gently cutting it without pulling and yanking, and then styled it. It was showstopping! My daughter had a similar experience with her stylist. I wish I could import the salon to Seattle, Washington. Highly recommend!!
