This company is bogus, you call them and they tell you where they are located yet their not even…read moreopen. You have to call a number which they very rarely answer, so they tell you to text them in which their response is very slow. The one guy you have to deal with is working out of his home. I had my phone their for a week in which I had to keep texting him how much longer. He gives it back to me, says its fixed, its not. He tells me to reboot which he should have done himself, still doesnt work. He then has it for a further 2 and half weeks in which i had to keep texting him for an update. Says he will get back to me , but never does. I finally go to his house and he tells me i cant come their unless i have an appointment. He says its not repairable and no refund. Also I want to add his place smells like a grow up, so I guess I can assume thats why he never got back to me as maybe he was stoned and forgot. Just as assumption!!!

I was a customer of the Kitchener location for years and visited frequently enough to be known by…read morename. I traded in totes full of thousands of dollars worth of games and I spent just as much in the store on games and merch. When I moved to Woodstock I continued making the trip to Kitchener just to continue shopping with them, but in the end none of that earned me any loyalty or respect. On April 3, 2022 I drove to Kitchener to trade about a $100 worth of games in toward two used switch games they had listed as in-stock on their website at $59.99 each. When asking about the games in-store I was directed to their high-price game cabinet near the front door where they were each listed for much higher than advertised on the website. The employee called the store manager regarding the discrepancy and the message relayed to me was essentially tough luck, that's the price, and they wouldn't be honoring the advertised price. Other retail stores would have owned their mistake and honored their own advertised price, but instead of valuing my business their priority seemed to be to make a quick buck by marking up the games as much as possible. I will no longer be giving Microplay my business.
