I stopped in to have my ring resized before I left the state for the winter months, I quickly realized that the ring was too large. But because I was out of state and then Covid hit I was unable to stop back in .However when I was back in the state able to stop in , I asked them to resize it for me againI was re charged to have it sized correctly. A few months after this service my ring broke in the area that it had been cut to resize. Again I had to stop in for a repair and this time I was not charged. Although I was not charged for this repair I was told they could not guarantee their work unless I paid several hundreds to add extra gold to reinforce the broken area. This whole process has taken several years and I feel that I probably have a ring that is weaker than when I had originally taken it in and it has cost me several hundreds. Sadly, after many years of loyalty to this business I am unable to trust their workmanship and so I will not be shopping there again.

This Sterling One manager was upset with us for not using them. It's a small town and we like to spread our business around. What caused the hanging up incident was that a bathroom counter that they installed was damaged on installation and they would only give us a store credit for another counter order. We decided to go with Cambria and Sterling One proceeded to upcharge us $600 more than the competition since we were a captive customer and to recoup their screw up. We balked and Alyssa Erickson hung up the phone on me.(BTW I have an email from Ms. Erickson with a half hearted apology as proof). I highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

It's about a 45-minute drive from me so it required a planned trip and a few hours of time to spend shopping. What an astounding place this is!! We arrived on a Saturday that happened to be a bulk roll sale day. Not sure how often they have this kind of sale but my friend indicated that we'd lucked out. Any remaining yardage on a bolt was $2/bolt!! All these bolts are LONG length - what is it 72"?? - mostly upholstery and curtain type materials. I found a gorgeous light canvass print in bright bold colors and patterns along with several bolts of purple-ish knit fabrics. I also found a lush velvety fabric - my smallest bolt with only a yard or two. Most of the bolts were 3-6 yards and a couple were upwards of 10 yards it seemed. They all had pretty heavy sizing but my friend washed a couple swatches in some hot water and dried them and they are BEAUTIFUL!!! They softened up real nice and I can't wait to make blankets, tablecloths, shirts, and tote bags from them. The outlet also has smaller cuts - often in weird shapes - of the many fabrics. These are purchased by the pound and, at $2/#, you can find some great deals there too. I found several cuts for a friend of mine. And, there is a bin of mostly white/cream pieces that you can take with purchase - for free! The selection in this bin (actually an old baby crib) is limited and kind of weird for this quilter girl but I found a heavy canvas-type piece that I believe I can use for making rugs. There is a lovely quilt fabric store attached to the custom upholstery side and my friend found a cute panel fabric. All in all, I walked out with yards of amazing fabric for under $23. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our time at Anderson's.

When I did find a dress the seamstress was reluctant to take it in even though it was two sizes to big. Even after a year I still think about how poorly I was treated.
