Why was I here? This was one of the stops for the 2020 Van Wert Chocolate Walk. I have to say, I admire them for opening up their doors to the public and giving out free chocolate as a way to bring attention to their church and perhaps bring people to come in and perhaps attend a future service. They did technically hand a flyer about their church as you stepped in through the door. The church is a beautiful, imposing edifice. Loved exploring it. I was very impressed by their Sunday school. I overheard the Sunday School teacher tell visitors they teach a number of students who are not Presbyterian in their school. I really like that. Eventually we did get to the area with the chocolate and wow, they did a great job. Chocolate fountain for you to dip many different types of food into... probably one of the better stops on the chocolate walk. Although I will stick to going to a Catholic Church, I have to give credit where credit is due.
