Staff was friendly both on the phone and in person. Hotel would have charged me 64 quid. Instead I was out the door here for a reasonable 4.60. There are three parking spaces out front for customers which make it easy to get in and out quick. I definitely recommend supporting this local business.

we h e used this Launderette for over a year now, and it was rocky at first until I started…read morecomplaining, bearing in mind I did my own hotel laundry for 8 months with no problems in getting stains out in the first wash. But we was getting loads of laundry back still dirty or with new stains on, after I complained that this wasn't good enough, the owner Marek did a free service load, this came back immaculate which shows if they take care it can be done, over time I was getting the odd item with notes saying several attempts to get a stain out had been made, only for me to put it in my washing machine and the stain came out, I had another moan, and as we were mid season I had no choice but to carry on, then through this year things have gotten much worse, as anything that's heavily stained I keep and wash myself, everything else goes out and every time the washing comes back there are dirty marks on several items as if they have been dragged across a dirty floor, several times I've had to deliver my own laundry as they can not give me a time that they would stick to, I run my hotel in my own most of the time and I don't have staff who can wait in. And we have another which my husband runs, and we are having the same problems there. in their shop you can see laundry bags everywhere piled high, so there is no space for them to keep stuff clean, it's horrendous! So they have obviously taken more work on than they can cope with. Not only that everything now comes back with a dull tinge to it, and most items very creased. But when I wash these myself they are white again. Sadly at this time of the year, it's hard to find another reliable launderette, so I wash and press half the bedding myself through the week days if it's quiet. Taking up my free time.

This is a large launderette on the corner of Ramper Gate and Victoria Road, there is car parking to…read morethe side and a short stay bay outside. The shop has 3 sizes of washers, a spin dryer and tumble dryers. It is open 7 days a week, usually only closing for a few days over the Christmas period. Service washes are available for those who wish to leave their laundry, but a lot of customers do their own. The largest washer will easily take my huge king sized duvet, with room for it to move around. Check the hours that staff are there, otherwise you will need to take your own change and soap powder. For me, the bonus is that the shop is open 8am - 7pm 7 days a week, it means I can go after work, rather than wasting my whole weekend washing..now all I need is to find a willing mug to do my ironing.

I Asked these amateurs to sew a badge on a blazer for me, simple right? That's what I thought. They quoted me £30 which I thought was expensive but was prepared to pay for a good job as it was an expensive jacket and a very rare badge. When I went to collect the blazer, the badge was absolutely ruined!! They had damaged the gold braiding around the perimeter of the badge. Obviously done by the machine they had chucked it through! At the price they was charging sewn on by hand didn't seem to much to ask. This was not just any old badge it was a vintage Cunard crest badge which had never been taken out of the packaging and that had taken me two years to track down. When I challenged them about the damage they denied they had caused it, even though I produced a picture I had taken the morning I'd taken the jacket to them to see what it looked like. I asked to see the manager and I was absolutely gob smacked to say the least to find that the person who was dealing with me so poorly was the owner..... she had the attitude of a sixteen year old school leaver on work experience, the only thing missing was the chewing gum. Her customer service was absolutely disgusting at best. I'm sure the owner will come back to this review with some sort of smarmy reply judging by the other bad reviews she's responded to but I'm not prepared getting into tit for tat I just wanted to warn others from experiencing the same as me. There are far better shops you can choose and much more reasonably priced as I found out to my cost. I'm amazed shops like this even exist. I wouldn't ask them to repair a hole in my tea towel.
