The interior was adorable but what impressed us the most was their approach to coffee. We had no idea there were so many different ways to process coffee beans so we ended up looking them up while enjoying our drinks. Once we learned more about them, we were so intrigued that we actually ordered some coffee online afterward! It was easy to see why this cafe is so popular. The line kept getting longer and longer the entire time we were there. It's a fairly small cafe so seating was pretty limited as well. I ordered the Latte with Caramel Cardamom and it was delicious! My husband got the Coffee Shot of Chamomile Pink Bourbon from their "Coffee Nerd Drinks" menu. He was especially interested in it because of the brewing method. I'm usually not a black coffee drinker but I tried a sip and was surprised by how much I liked it. There were still so many drinks we wanted to try but since this was only a weekend trip, we didn't have enough time. We'll definitely be visiting again the next time we're in the area!

I usually get a vanilla latte as my litmus test but I just had to try the girls breakfast. Which was fabulous. The cinny cold foam was A+. Also the baristas were very friendly! I'm only sad that I probably won't be up in the area for a long time but if I do come up there I will def be shopping by again.

I don't know why it's taken me this long to finally draft up a review for Valor when my first visit…read morewas in 2023! I was super excited to finally get a REAL coffee shop in the neighborhood, especially since I have loved their Alpharetta location since 2020. Since then, I've been back a few times to meet friends for a cup of coffee or grab a bag of whole beans to go to make my own espresso at home! It's not the cheapest bag of beans but it's definitely freshly roasted and good quality! I love their seasonal bevs - I've tried their fall drinks like the Tokyo Drift (Applewood smoked cortado, orange blossom syrup, freshly grated nutmeg, orange peel) and the Spice is Right (Iced, spicy, creamy, coffee cocktail vibe with cold brew, hot honey syrup, vanilla bean and milk). You can easily sub out alternate milks, even on the seasonal specialty drinks. I appreciate the themes and play on the seasons. And also just simple but delicious drinks like the Nitro Lavender Vanilla Oat Latte. The seating can be a huge issue. I seem to always stumble in during peak, maybe? There seems to be plenty of space but no seating/tables. Many tables for 2 or 4 would be taken by 1-2 people studying/working all day, which is understandable but still frustrating. There is some outdoor seating (dog friendly, woohoo!) but is extremely vulnerable to the elements. Overall, I'm grateful for more local and noncommercial coffee shops in Dunwoody! Bring em on!!

Doesn't give cozy coffee shop, but more like young hipster cute industrial chic? Wouldn't recommend for studying or serious work, but good to catch up with a friend. It was fairly crowded and the inside was chatty on a Saturday afternoon. When I arrived there was a line, and I waited about 12-15 minutes before I could order. I ordered a chai latte and it was fine but.. and can't believe I'm saying this, but it was a bit too spicy. I never opened the cup but wondered how much milk was used because the spice was really overpowering. Not in a way that made me need a cup of cold milk, but in a way that made it taste really unbalanced, so I didn't like it too much. But I drank it because it was like 8 dollars and I didn't feel like waiting again to get something else.

When I started on my journey, it was a little further than I had planned to go but my sister friend raced about the croissants. I'm a bread girlie so I trusted her opinion. It was mid afternoon, well beyond the best time to pick up a morning croissant so I inquired about what items were left. To my surprise, they had some croissants left. I requested if they could save me one and they obliged. Thru didn't have to but they said they would. And boy, I'm so glad they did! Once I returned home nearly 45 minutes away, and heated them up for a mid afternoon snack, I knew that the distance was the only reason that would save what's left of my peri-menopausal waistline. I'm not even going to share which one I tried because I'm a greedy bread girlie and I want them to be available the next time I go. Just know that you can't go wrong with ANY flavor because they were all flaky, buttery, airy---just so damn good. It WAS Paris all over again. I'm thinking about them even as I type this review. Oh my goodness. Ugghh. So good!

My child genuinely enjoys attending classes, looks forward to going each week, and has built wonderful friendships through the dojo. What stands out most is how supportive everyone is -- especially the senseis. They go above and beyond to support children in ways that extend beyond what you might expect from a traditional dojo. It is clear they have a genuine love and respect for the practice, along with a personal investment in helping children grow into confident, respectful, and compassionate individuals for the betterment of society as a whole. As a parent, it has been wonderful to find a place that not only teaches self-defense, but also emphasizes focus, discipline, moral development, kindness toward others, and the importance of only using their skills to protect themselves or others when necessary. The values taught here extend far beyond martial arts, and we are incredibly grateful to be part of such a supportive and positive environment.

We cannot say enough good things about Peter and his Brother Cornelius who completed a fairly complex install of our fireplace. First let me say I am VERY picky about things and a 5 star review from me is hard to come by so you can trust this review. They had to demo our hearth, then build around our existing flat rock fireplace, then install a Dimplex 60" linear Electric Fireplace, then install the Cultured LedgeStone, which was no easy task due to how the premanufactured stone was milled or cut. Finally install hardwood on the floor where the hearth was. They were clean in their work, courteous and showed up when they said they would. Plus they were very pleasant. They catered to our needs on the this project without question. If you need someone to install a fireplace and or do stone work, etc. and who takes PRIDE in their work and will not stop until it is 100% right....you need to call them for your project TODAY! They also do outdoor kitchens, grilling areas, etc. You cannot go wrong with Hearth & Braai. Thanks guys! Chuck & Mary Thompson
