Seems to offer lots of dining and recreation choices (including spaces for poker & slot machines). As expected, there is a "dress code" and prices are slightly higher if you're not a club member. We ordered 7 dishes ($80): chicken feet, cha siu bow, taro puff, egg tart, chinese sausage roll, beef balls & fried rice. The rice & sausage dishes were blasé but the taro puff was excellent. For the price, the food was only OK, but you come here for the nice atmosphere (e.g., if you're entertaining guests and you want an upscale vibe).

For Main my partner had duck a l'orange that he loved, had a crispy skin and cooked well. I had the pork belly which was a little disappointing as it didn't have crisp and I only order pork belly and wait with anticipation for that crunchy crispy skin but it was chewy :-( For desert my partner had the crème brûlée, which had an infused rhubarb sauce on top that just gave a weird taste, he removed it and discarded the sauce which revealed a lovely crisp sugar top and a good tasting crème brûlée to underneath, there's no need for the sauce. Also not part of their regular menu. I had the soufflé, that was a very nice finish to the meal after the pork disappointment, I enjoyed the soufflé and the accompanying ice cream yummm.

We opted for to go to Troohy's as it wasn't as busy. Meals are reasonable Chicken Schnitzel with chips and salad for $14.50 and lamb shanks for $19! Pretty decent sized too! You order and pay for your food separate at the kitchen counter and get a buzzer. The bar is down the back for drinks, coffee and cakes. Overall, I think it was a good lunch.
