Why not include the use of a paddle board rather than charging an insane amount to rent? Add the perk of a few bundles of fire wood? We ended up canceling our reservation for this summer (2024) because we couldn't justify yet another increase. Staycations shouldn't break the bank. It's a shame, because the lake is glorious.

Prepare to wake when the sun comes up as the window shades do not begin to block the rising sun, at least in the bedrooms in the inn. The breakfast was delicious, though heavy on carbs. I hope they consider offering some sort of egg with all breakfasts. Pancakes and French toast are good for breakfast but a side of a protein (other than sausage) should be part of all breakfasts. They have water out all day but it is always room temperature, not very refreshing on a hot day.

I have traveled a lot for difference companies, and I have stay in different hotel across the…read moreworld, but this is one of those hotels that make you wonder why it is in the location it is. I do not really know or understand that reason, but I will tell you something the rooms were very clean, the beds were soft and comfortable the each unit had a refrigerator. The towels were a bit on the sandpaper, but the showers were clean and the water was running fast so to keep your wet as you clean yourself. What make this location different and funny at the same time, you need to go to the gas station to sign in and pick up the keys and then go to the room which is about 150 feet from the first room, so that is the funny part. Enjoy the view too of the two adult stores just out front of your windows, which makes TV boring, especially when you can just sit and watch the people going in to the adult store buying and shopping for something, what I really do not understand for want to understand. Overall the hotel does get high marks, especially when you need a room for several day to accomplish your work. I look toward to return here on my next stay. Oh yes they do have wireless in the room, so that is another positive, but no ESPN which was not that great, but the bar in walking distance did have ESPN for the football game.
