Not sure if it's the smell of onions frying, 3-day-old cooking oil, dim sims steaming or a combination of all three but the one thing I am sure of is the smell of a good fish & chip shop will instantly make you hungry.
Bladin St fish & chips is old school wrapped in white paper and grease proof paper (no white cardboard boxes in sight).
The menu is typical of all local fish & chip shops. Flake to burgers to scollops to dim sims.
In my experience this place always serves high quality and fast food. Wait times can be up to 25 mins when very busy so I'd suggest phoning ahead.
I've had fish (both fried and grilled) and have both times been very happy with the quality. Whilst I haven't tried (yet) a burger , my friends have and the too have been satisfied.
Overall, I would recommend anyone in the area to give them a try. read more
