These guys came out to the lake and serviced our boat in a reasonable time frame and we were very happy with them.

I purchased two Seadoo watercraft from these people in 2016. At the time I purchased the boats I…read morewas told we did not need a trailer for them. They would deliver them to our lake house and service them there or pick them up if they needed to be serviced in the shop. One of the boats had a problem with the Brake/Reverse feature this spring. I called Texas Hydro Sports to see if they could come an pick up the boat. The woman on the phone said it would be 9 MONTHS before they could get to me. WHAT!!! I suggested to her that it made no sense for me to have them pick up the boat in January 2019! She said that was their schedule. I asked if they had a trailer I could borrow and I could bring the boat to them. She told me they did not have any trailers to loan. They did, however, have some for sale. I could come and purchase a trailer and then deliver the boat to them. I asked how that would influence the service schedule. She said they had a lot of boats ahead of me so it would probably be a couple of months. I suggested that the summer would be almost over by that time. She agreed!!! I asked to speak to someone else. She had the manager/owner call me back a couple of days later. I told him my tale of woe. He said he would "look into it" and call me back. It has now been three weeks and he has yet to call me back. In the intervening time I went to Texas Adventure Powersports in Richardson (https://www.texasadventure.com). I told them I had a boat that needed service, they loaned me a trailer, I went back to the lake and picked up the boat, dropped it off at the dealer. 9 days later they called me to tell me my boat was ready. I picked it up on their loaner trailer and delivered it back to the lake. It runs perfectly. Bottom line: There are some good places to buy watercraft in the Dallas area. Texas Adventure Powersports is certainly one of the best. There is no need to deal with the likes of people like Texas Hydro Sports. If we avoid them perhaps the business will fail and we can get a good dealer to open at the lake. Too bad Yelp only allows reviews of 1 or above. I would have rated this business ZERO!

Took our boat for service. After having it for weeks they said they could not fix it. When we got…read morethe boat back our oil cap was missing. Was there when we took it in. Charged us for two lake tests and mechanics had no explanation for boat issues. Didn't offer to replace cap so had to order online which took another two weeks. WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDTHIS PLACE!!!!!

AVOID! This was just…read moreabsolutely horrible. Purchased through Groupon (which btw they made it verbally clear that they do not value their Groupon customers. Apparently all of their Groupon customers are low income and never leave a tip). The sarcastic attitude and lack of enthusiasm from Allen, the captain, was proof in point. Upon arrival, we get in the boat, they don't say welcome, show us where life vests are, or tell us what the plan is. Just tells us where to sit and then hauls ass across the lake. What was our first stop? To spend an hour while they tried to catch bait fish! And yes, that was part of the 4 hour tour. They threw back most of the bait fish they caught because they were too small (I guess they thought we were there to catch trophy sized fish). So we left with very few bait fish. Their fish finder had broken off the back of the boat so we had to fish blind. They take us to another part of the lake where several other boats were fishing. They set up 3 rod and reels. THERE WERE 4 OF US THERE TO FISH. Probably spent an hour there and I never once touched a fishing pole. (Thats two hours now and I still hadn't touched a fishing pole). They did all the casting and baiting and basically just handed someone the pole to finish reeling in the fish, like we were children. We left there and went to another spot on the lake where they finally pulled out 4 fishing poles with lures on them. It's only then that we were actually doing the fishing ourselves. Probably spent a little over an hour at this spot. We did catch a few fish, but not many. The remaining time was spent traveling across the lake and them cleaning the fish. During the entire trip Allen was extremely sarcastic. You could tell he didn't want to be there. He griped about the Groupon deal and exclaimed he would never do it again. He brought up topics of conversation without "knowing his audience". I.e the confederate flag debate. Extremely unprofessional. Acted very inconvenienced when we asked for a group picture. The other guy, Sky, was the saving grace for the trip. He was friendly, fun, and actually seemed to enjoy our presence.

I purchased a Groupon and pre-paid a fishing trip that this company had offered and was very…read moreexicted to fish (and potentially later hunt) with this outfitter. I am experienced at both hunting and fishing and have used many guide services. I contacted them as instructed via phone, was told to email my info and text them. I did, several times. Long story short, 2 weeks of mostly ignored emails, calls, and texts I was never able to confirm a fishing trip. The 9th text message/13th communication was with a date "Please confirm" their response which was the 14th communication was "No problem buddy. Send me your name email phone number". Fishing is supposed to be fun, and this experience was not fun at all, and became more like chasing down someone that owes you money than booking an adventure. After multiple attempts at communication and multiple attempts to confirm a date, I gave up and texted the owner (who apparently farms out the fishing to a different "partner" who would not communicate with me at all) about my plight. He finally admitted that their main boat had a broken block - I guess this was some kind of secret, because he acted like all the lack of communication was OK and texted me that my "name wasn't first on the contact list" and that they are "extremely busy" - very sarcastic I feel to tell me after two weeks of stalling and obfuscation that my name wasn't "first". With that kind of poor communication and attitude, there is no way I would drive several hours to an apppointed meeting spot in the hopes that they would even show up. I asked for and got a refund on the pre-paid Groupon. Elite Outdoorsman: I am sorry that I had the had the poor sense to pre-purchase a fishing trip and think that I would then be treated like a customer you valued. I actually thought the whole point of a Groupon was to get customers to try your product so they would come back again and again. TLDR: These guys are "extremely busy" and customer is not "first on the contact list" so after 2 weeks and approx 14 emails, texts and calls customer could not get a single fishing date confirmed.
