I love HOTWORX and the concept behind it. You truly get a great workout in less time, and the…read morevariety of sessions is awesome. However, this particular facility needs some attention. The saunas are often dusty, especially around the heating elements, and I frequently notice hair and dust in the corners. It's clear that regular deep cleaning isn't happening as it should. Also, the HIIT equipment is unreliable--sometimes the resistance levels don't hold, or the seat and handlebars shift during use, which can be frustrating and even unsafe. With the number of members using the equipment daily, I'd expect staff to be more proactive about checking and maintaining the spaces throughout the day, rather than relying solely on members to report issues. When you're doing back-to-back sessions, there's just no time to notify staff in between. And don't count on a hot shower afterward--the water barely gets warm even when turned to the max, which is disappointing after a sweaty session. I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves the cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and shower facilities -- this location just isn't living up to it right now.

I absolutely love every class that I have taken here. The instructors a great and give suggestions for modifications which my poor old joints need! I struggle a bit with some of the movements but I'm still able to complete each session (and I definitely feel it later!) I also love that this location draws a diverse crowd - all different ages and body sizes are welcome. 10 out of 10 experience!

Had a scheduled appointment for FST (Fascia Stretch Therapy) with Danny. Honestly, halfway through, I was ready for a nap it was worth it, and I didn't realize all the extra stress all over my body, and with just one session, I could feel the difference. I can't wait to go for my 2nd FST They offer Pilates in group, semi-private, or one-on-one settings. They also offer intro sessions to prepare you for joining a class without pressure. The classes that say they are OK for beginners definitely are, but you can step up if your practice is more advanced. Anne's Wunda class is advanced and a total workout. I have taken it the morning of a flight twice and both times have basically poured myself onto the flight later that evening. Great location, excellent equipment, knowledgeable teachers, and true Classical Pilates. I am glad I get to go here!

Oak Cliff Pilates is where it all started for me, although back then OCP was located above a shop…read moreon Davis St. It's been fun watching OCP grow and expand to different locations. They are always offering free Pilates classes in local parks (Tietze park coming up in September). Check their IG to keep up on events. This new studio in uptown is so pretty. The color scheme is greens, golds and black. Being in the studio makes me feel like I'm in an old swanky Hollywood hotel. The thing I like most about OCP is that they are chill and not so structured as some of the corporate Pilates places around town. If you forget your grip socks, no problem! The classes and the instructors are always great. They have specials often, especially for new members, and it seems like most memberships give you access to both studios. Classes are booked on the OCP app. I haven't had problems with parking at the uptown location, but they do validate if you need to park in the garage. There are so many classes offered each day and different types of Pilates from jumpboard to stretching. There is truly something for everyone!
