5+++++ stars for Dr. Main and his entire office!…read more I have never written a review for a doctor like this before, but Dr. Main truly deserves it. I suffer from bipolar disorder, including manic episodes, some depression, anxiety, and difficult sleep habits. Over the years, it has not always been easy to find a doctor who truly understands the full picture -- but Dr. Main does. In 25 years, he is the only psychiatrist I have ever had who told me his personal goal for me was to help me decrease the amount of medication I was taking -- not only lowering prescription strengths, but reducing the number of medications altogether. My previous doctor had me on 10 medications. With Dr. Main, I am now on 4, with only an occasional extra when needed. He literally cut my medications in half. Dr. Main is not the kind of doctor who rushes you in and out in 15 minutes. He invests his time in you. He listens. He helps you create a real plan for your mental health challenges. He is kind, supportive, humble, compassionate, and open to what his patients have to say. He is never the "I'm the doctor, I know everything" type. He makes you feel heard, understood, and cared for. When I have missed appointments, he has personally called me. One time, he FaceTimed me because he was concerned, and when I told him my sister had passed away, he was incredibly supportive. He simply said, "Get back to me when you can. Take your time. But if you need me, I am here for you." That kind of compassion is rare. He also makes things so much easier when it comes to medications and refills. If I forget I'm running low, I can contact the office or reach out directly, and 9 times out of 10, the prescription is handled that same day -- worst case, the next day. In the beginning, I needed to see him more often, and he was there for that. As time went on, we both agreed telemedicine appointments worked well. When he started me on a medication for OCD, he checked in with me nearly every week for almost a month. I needed that reassurance, and he gave it to me. I truly never knew I could feel this good, this balanced, and this happy. Since becoming his patient, the world feels colorful again. I also wanted my son to see him, but unfortunately that would have been a conflict of interest. Dr. Main recommended another doctor in his office, Dr. Eugene, and I have never seen my son so balanced, happy, and able to fully live his life. I believe the entire team of doctors and PAs in that office is wonderful. They seem to share the belief that the traditional doctor/patient relationship has evolved -- and that patients deserve to be listened to, respected, and treated as whole people. Dr. Main is like a therapist and psychiatrist rolled into one. He remembers past visits, follows up on things we've discussed, and makes me feel like he truly cares. I could honestly write pages and pages about my experience with him. You seriously cannot get better than Dr. Main. I want to stand on a mountain and yell: Make an appointment! He is an incredible doctor -- open to new ways of treating patients, compassionate, attentive, and truly invested. Don't walk, run. You won't regret it. Tony, Joanna and Shelley are friendly, kind and respectful. I haven't felt stigmatized because of my mental illness at all. That is a problem when being seen elsewhere. I have a lot of respect and appreciation for Dr Sivatta. I've had TMS, esketamine, and medication management for severe depression. My symptoms have been relieved, I've been able to get off several of my medications and I've never felt better.

Unlike previous psychiatrists I've seen, Dr. D actually takes the time to talk to you to better understand your situation and provides real guidance on how to do things better or different. He is considered one of the top experts in OCD in the area and was highly recommended by my psychologist. He even runs a monthly OCD group session. I don't understand the reviews from people saying Dr. D was "over medicating" them. My experience has been the complete opposite. In fact, I am taking half the medication I used to. What I also like about Dr. D is that he doesn't just rely on meds alone. He asks about your sleep, whether you're exercising, and considers many other environmental factors in your treatment. He also has a good sense of humor which is the complete opposite of my previous psychiatrists. Highly recommended!

He does not boast, however he is extremely intelligent. He likes to allow his patients to think and advocate for themselves, and draw their own conclusions, with some guidance. To those of you neigh sayers that have left reviews about being quick to assess, being a waste of time and money, and quick to medicate, I invite you to rethink your experience with Dr. Donnellan. Do we not all quickly assess a situation when it is thrust upon us, whether right or wrong? Second- your time, your money. Trust me, he makes your time worthwhile whether you see it quickly or it takes a bit. Medication- stop and think how long it may take to find the right combination. You have to start somewhere, and proceed with what works and what may not work. Give yourself and Dr. D some patience, and you will start to see a difference. Overall, I could not recommend a better listener, positive instigator, and excellent clinician. Dr. Zhang takes the time to listen to you and to work with you to adjust medications as needed. Over those 12 years, I went through different phases in my life and needed to adjust meds accordingly. It was very comforting to know that I could count on Dr. Zhang to be there for me. I completely trusted him. I recently relocated to FL to a city that is literally a medical desert. I could not find a psychiatrist for my medication management and had to go with a psychiatric NP. The woman is like a robot. The downside is that her office staff, while very friendly, never answers the phone or call back to set up my appointments. They don't send new prescription to the pharmacy on time and I also ran into an issue with her billing office trying to charge me for an EEG from over a year ago, which was covered by my insurance. I ended up having to switch doctors because I've been trying to get an appointment for several weeks now. I'm sad because I like Dr Wu, but I can't call every day until someone answers.

She also pulled me off a powerful anti-depressant so abruptly that the side effects threw me into a tailspin of depression, anxiety and despair. One is supposed to taper off these medications over a period of weeks, even months. She gave it one week. I will never forget or forgive her; she put my life at risk.
