Even more rare if they show up on time (or at all) with a good attitude and ready to get the job done. That being said I am very happy to have been referred to this handyman who does all of the above. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. Fix-it Ross has honestly been a life saver on several occasions when I needed to quickly get a house ready for a new occupant. So far he has repainted the interior of three residences for me, installed new hardware, light fixtures, replaced screens, pressure washed exterior and driveways, replaced fencing and repaired a large portion of decking. After seeing his work I hired him for some outdoor projects at my personal residence as well. He and his team have accommodated smaller tasks too like assembling furniture for a short-term rental, programming door bells, digital locks, replacing high up light bulbs, air filters, etc. I also appreciate that they know their limitations and won't just say yes unless it is truly in their scope of knowledge. I've found pricing to be very fair, especially because he's able to handle several projects in a single visit. I usually wait until I have 3-5 items on my list before sending a HELP! text. We had him out several times, and he missed his promised time every single time. We had to call several times when he forgot he was supposed to be at our job. Still, once he was there, he would work diligently and make every effort to do things the right and best way, not the easiest way. He did not take shortcuts, and you want an electrician who cares about doing your wiring correctly. He also took the time to solve problems we presented that were not part of the original plan, and he added them in at a fair price. This probably explains why he was often late. It can be hard to know how long a job will take, especially when you are doing your best to do things safely and correctly and taking the time to do it right. So we were understanding about that, once at our house, he often stayed longer than scheduled to make sure we were happy and the job was done correctly. We will use him again.
