Whether that's a heart reading or dryer vent reading, both are potentially deadly. Dryer fires are the #1 cause of house fires today. From a convenience standpoint, blockages slow drying and leave clothes wet. I reached out to Ventbusters and off they went. We set up a time and they spent close to 2 hours removing all lint - they video the work so you can see before and after as well as what they took out! They also let me know there was an issue with the roof vent in our townhouse (and you really shouldn't vent to the roof unless you have to) which we will address. I cannot recommend them more and the flat rate option--so worth it and great peace of mind.

They had to cut a 4" hole in the sheetrock to bend the cable down the wall, which was easily repaired. They protected the island and countertop. The kept the work site tidy. They were friendly, courteous, and very competent. I wish I could remember the electrician's name as he is a very competent and an impressive young man. The price was fair and I am very pleased with the installation. I had several competitors bid on the job, two were rude, two were greedy, and another just downright disrespectful. I was afraid of what the cost was going to be but it turned out to be just what I was quoted. My wife spoke with the office to arrange payment and she commented how professional the staff were. The phone was answered promptly and was informed that I would shortly be receiving a call from the service tech.. About 90 minutes later, Sam called and came by my house in the late afternoon. Sam was courteous and professional. He quickly identified the problem which required ordering a part. He provided an estimate for the repair and when the part would likely arrive. The part arrived late Friday and he came by 9am Saturday morning to install, put the washer back in its place, and ran it through a test mode. Worked perfectly! Total cost was $240 for part, labor, and service call. I felt that was very reasonable. I will use Midway Appliance again and will recommend them to my friends/family. I read another review that gave 1 star for a $50 charge for a service call, diagnostic, and removing the old appliance. In my opinion, that was a very reasonable charge for the provided service.
