It was a hot day which for this part of the planet is a rare talking point. I mean we had to be at 25c which is so unusual. Better still we've had it around these temperatures for about a week. Anyway it was a lunch time visit and probably 2 years since I was here last. The staff are mega friendly and the service was pretty good given at just how busy it was. This place is like a lot of bistro style cafes now where it's tea and coffee with coffees averaging £2.4 and savoury bread-based food, ham, bacon, goats cheese, salmon etc with a sit in price range between £6 & £10 plus drinks. My companion had a BLT style brioche with coffee and I had a cappuccino with a fruit scone and a sparkling water. He declared his as very good. My scone was tasty and quite a portion. The sparkling water was not as cold served as it should have been. No lemon slice either. So solid three star. If I were close by it is a place I would frequent.

It's 21st century Starbucks folks; welcome to dirty tables and floors and it's not a Christmas rush…read morethis is common in this store. The cafe was cold within so if any heat was on then it was insufficient to bring any beneficial comfort and the WiFi just doesn't work; again just like all the Starbucks stores that I've been in around NI in recent months. We didn't try any of the food and service was limited to hearing my name being called out as I ordered on their app once I was inside the store as I wanted to be sure to get a dirty seat at a dirty table so that I could at least sit down. Starbucks harps on about the environment and they rifled money from me a few months ago for a cup of tap water alleging that the 5p was the price of the plastic cup when they were surrounded by ceramic cups but yet, here today, although we were sitting in, all four drinks came in paper cups with plastic lids. The environment my derrière they couldn't give a toss about anything else but maximising profits so no green stars. The staff are pleasant and the coffee good but my business is becoming less and less as I continue to use up my app credit which started at several hundred pounds - that's from when I was a loyal customer. Now I'm just another cold one sitting in a dirty cafe with my overcoat on.

It's been far too long since we were here last, and we got a taste of what we've been missing…read more We only recognised one staff member, so it's all change, but he remembered us and he treated us extra special which was a class and decent touch. All the staff were charming. It's a fall-out of Wu flu that brought us here on a Christmas Eve - we met a niece and her young children in a way deemed socially distant to exchange Christmas presents. The kids menus (£6.5) are excellent, a kids drink, main and dessert with the food made on the premises. One little one opted for fish & chips and got a proper piece of freshly battered fish (in huge contrast to the rubbish I was served locally at Craft). The other little one had chicken nuggets and again it's clear these were also made on the premises, as they should be. All the adults opted for the all day brunch, which wasn't my first choice, but I went with the flow. It's essentially a breakfast fry up with chips added and a choice of tea/filter coffee £10. Everything was properly cooked and tasty. I wanted English mustard and to my horror they had none. I was offered - and declined - the oil based Dijon and its awful stuff. I had noted that they made their own sriracha hot so I opted for it and it was superb. In fact next time I go I'd choose it. The only other bummer was that the coffees were cold by the time the food was served. This place is a class act. I won't deduct points for mostly my foibles but Colman's English mustard is a necessity. Sure won't wait as long to go back.

Once finished you may need to remain seated fit at least 20 minutes! The kids enjoyed it too with a great choice of mains and deserts for little ones. Very reasonably priced for the quality of food.
